1. Any idea on the age of this amp, I believe the newer ones had the loud D.I problem sorted. I owned one of these and the Ad200 loved both, very tempted by this.....
2. Don't do it!!! These are great amps, and this is a bargain price. How come you are getting rid?
3. Played the DB750 on Sat night in a smallish venue and it did kind of pin the audience to the back wall, but the sound is to die for. I used to lug an SVT Classic around so the Aggy feels light in comparison! I think the general verdict is to save and buy a ToneHammer and then have the choice, seems like a plan to me. As for DB750's coming around for sale, definitely getting a rarer sight on this forum, no one wants to sell them, those that do seem to regret it. Decision made, thanks to all who contributed, that's what I love about this forum : )
4. I had one, first one I owned had a problem cutting out, it got sent back to Orange and they replaced it. The new one seemed fine but the bulb did go on that one. Good amps though if you want the signature orange bass sound, very low mids, deep bass. The 500 watter was more than enough for me. Hope you enjoy yours when you get it.
5. Hi Guys I have a lovely Aguilar DB750, which I love to bits, simply a great sound. I had chance to try a TH500 the other day and it sounded really good, almost DB750 like without the heft of carrying around. I only play pub gigs and have 2 x D112's, so TH500 would make a lovely portable rig, plenty loud enough for what I do. Problem is I'd have to shed the DB750 to go with the TH500. Can anyone give me any experience of either, and what I might lose or gain through swapping out to a TH500. Your feedback is always appreciated. Jem
6. Would you consider selling the head separately?

Here we have my Orange OBC410 bass cab which is in pretty much show room condition. It is rated 600w at 8 ohms and is probably the most solid and sturdy cab I've owned. You can get great bottom end on this beast, but it's also very tight and punchy too. It comes with an Orange padded cover. I'm the 2nd owner of this cab, the previous owner just kept it in a studio so its had hardly any use since it left the shop about 6 months ago. I'm after £475 for what is pretty much a brand new cab. 19. Still here, but swaying towards hanging onto it if I can't shift both for a sensible price.
20. Hi Tim, sorry I somehow managed to delete that info from the description, I have added it back in, FYI 800w 4ohm, speakon connection. The cab sounds really great, not as much low end as a 115, and is much more articulate that my orange obc410. The Orange head can be very dark lots of low mids, but the matamp makes it very tight and has a great punch, not sure if that's the drivers or the non ported nature of the cab. Still plenty of lows and it's definitely a vintage vibe to the sound if that's what you like. I am not so good at describing the sounds, I probably have a lot of clips of it on my little zoom recorder which might do a better job.
21. updated bump - OBC115 now gone
22. Up for sale I have a nice 2x12 matamp cab, in Orange tolex, 800w 4 ohms, great cab, comes with Roqsolid cover. Same width exactly as an Orange or Matamp head. Picked this up on here over a year ago and is an amazing loud and punchy cab. The cab is a Matamp 2x12 with ceramic Eminence Delta 12A drivers in matching orange colour made to the exact same width as the Orange head. No Matamp badge on the front, just a label on the back, and it has a black grille cloth. Also comes with a Roqsolid cover. Cab details: The drivers are mounted on the rear of the baffle via a removable panel to the back of the cab. The cab is not ported in anyway, so behaves in a similar manner to a sealed cab, punchy as hell with a valve amp. 55cm wide x 36cm deep x 70cm high For those of you that haven't caught up to metric units, that is 21.5" wide x 14.2" deep X 27.5" high. Weighs around 35kg / 77lbs The Matamp Cab now has a white with black Matamp badge on it, which I bought from Matamp and added centrally on the speaker cloth.
