Sounds bad, big job ?

Go tback alot of gear thats been in storage for awhile. Plugged it all in, working O.K. ( some hum), so turn it off. Then, a strange couple of pops then a burning smell from the cab !!!!! Hooked up another head and it seems to work fine, but one of the speakers is now distorting . Any ideas ?

Exactly what I was looking for. I'm abit of a novice with a soldering iron ( I do make my own speaker leads and cables, and have replaced a pot on a Morley). Is this easy done ? Could anybody post some pics as the ones above have disappeared. Cheers in advance.

I have an original Morley Telray fuzz wah, and you can get some cool Twilight Zone/ John Carpenter vibes out of it. The fuzz is insane ( I may mod the fuzz circuit tho).

I got a wee DOD Milkbox for a few quid off the bay, has a wee feature that you can boost the highs, abit of mucking about and you can get a nice punchy tone.

Just got one of these doofers,nice. The problem is when you engage the fuzz on its own, the volume drops way low. With the wah on, its there great. Any tips or hints ?

Greetings, Been offered a wee jam session, so I want to travel light. This is what I'm thinking of taking .......... Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 Trace Elliot 1 X 15 (1153) 200 watts The amps min load is 4 ohms, and the cab is 8 ohms. Would this be okay ? I've been out of the loop for awhile so, I'm a bit rusty with this stuff. cheers, Paul
