  1. The guy on the far right …is that a mullet flap over his right shoulder πŸ˜…
  2. This rig can actually do anything I need it to do . I was thinking of selling the amp but played it a few times lately at rehearsals and realised it sounds perfect.
  3. Right ! 2022, I’m not going to commit to no purchases but I really need to exercise the one-in , one-out rule. I hate having good gear not being used πŸ€”
  4. It depends on the BF cab, the 12” series are very HiFi sounding , clear, accurate and powerful. The 10” series are more old school sounding
  5. Chiming in on the Barefaced two10. Used this with a Trace AH500 and Spyder 550 and it has heaps of low end.
  6. Seriously though, whoever thought an 8x10 combo was a good idea πŸ₯΄
  7. Cute , I was looking for something with a few more drivers though πŸ€”
  8. I was looking for something a bit heavier and more impractical, thanks anyway
  9. Here's my guess. I've owned both a PF350 and an old school Trace. While the Ampeg has more of a smooth sound that most people would still like today, the trace sound is well....its a trace sound, and I'm not sure modern players are into that anymore (I still love the sound of them BTW), so I'm guessing TE (or whoever owns them now, Peavey?) figured they'd sell more Elfs if they weren't so "Tracey"
  10. It’s a β€œDon’t bomb us, Fritz” sign
  11. LOL its actually still the 'official' name of the Republic, but nobody really uses it anymore.
  12. I bought loads of gear from the UK pre Brexit, there were so many bargains to be had, especially from this site.
  13. What makes it even more confusing is that Ireland(Rep) and the UK have other agreements pre-EEC that are now in place, I haven't a clue to be honest. BC is the best place to sell gear but I don't want fellow bass chatters to get hit with a nasty surprise.
  14. Unfortunately I live the opposite end of the country
  15. Does anyone know if items I sell into the mainland UK from Ireland will incur import duty, I've 2 amps , one made in UK the other Made in China, I think there's some rules of origin thing making the UK item exempt for UK tax or something?? Apologies for the laziness but I just figured there's folks here used to buying/selling into UK post Brexit .
  16. I failed utterly miserably, I even bought guitar gear πŸ™ˆ
  17. I’ve the little bastard , I love those amps
  18. I had it for sale for €600, that's about Β£510. Which I thought was fair. Its been serviced and everything (by Guy at Ashdown)
  19. I've both an Ashdown CTM100 and Ashdown Spyder 550 and I've tried to sell them off on a number of occasions, nothing wrong with them or anything, I just wanted smaller gear. Nobody really wants them, and you know, I don't really care if I never manage to sell either. They're great amps.
  20. I had one of those , great amps
  21. Looking at these as a handy amp for quiet gigs . Anyone have any experience with them ?
  22. 1000w per valve amp. πŸ˜…
  23. Quick Question, how often do you change your power valves ?
