  1. Traditional fender shaped basses with f holes
  2. Even the starbass has the wrong headstock ☹️. Again great playing basses but Ick to look at. I had a corvette once and it basically had 2 dildos for horns. My band mates slagged me something wicked. I could live with the thumb or streamer bass. The Adam Clayton one is actually cool
  3. The original jazz bass ones are cool imo
  4. I really dislike the upper curve on those 4003 basses . Too much useless chrome .
  5. I like them but the horn looks like it could snap off any minute
  6. I’m gonna get lynched but I don’t really like the look of most Warwick basses 😬. I know they’re great basses and all but they look very 90s. Especially the Dolphin and infinity ones . Daft looking
  7. Don’t worry my black mayones triggered at least 4 things that people hate 😂
  8. Sorry Not a fan of those Fender Marcus Miller basses either....too much going on, the mods look very home made.
  9. Danelectro Longhorn basses. Sorry if anyone owns one but they look horrid to me, the 'horns' look like they could snap off if you looked at them too hard,. I'm not convinced by those lipstick pickups either, they look like something that fell out of a lucky bag.
  10. Those Ampeg basses with the F holes going through the body and the double bass style headstock, vom.
  11. What's worse is the Fender 5 string, where the G string is on the sloping bit of the Fender headstock, It looks like it was just shoved on as an afterthought.
  12. the New Sandberg headstock is pretty slick, I've an old Sandberg and it does look like it could double as a shovel.
  13. Many Many Many moons ago I just couldnt 'get' the 3+1 MM headstock. Its so ubiquitous now it doesn't seem unusual at all. I bet if some manufacturer were to to bring it out now people would think it's horrible.
  14. Oh Dear, I appear to have hit a number of hate-triggers with my Majones Jabba-4 (i.e. black hardware, no scratch plate with plate control knob and matching body and head stock on maple). I dont really care, it plays and sound fab.
  15. I was just on their site Yep they still do it , the softcore aged is perfect. I asked them before if they just did it new, they said that it doesn't really look like anything the green/blue mottling effect (which is so nice) just isn't there with the un-aged finish.
  16. As mentioned above I'm opposed to 'reliced' basses...in general. The only one I'd consider is a Roquefort blue reliced Sandberg, they are just gorgeous.
  17. They do a lovely blue-burst aswell
  18. It looks like somebody used a piece of MDF back to front, and then couldn't be bothered finishing it.
  19. Ted Nugent's favorite bass guitar.
  20. I'm not an accomplished fretless player but I really lined fretlesses really annoying, not for any aesthetic reason but because you instinctively play between the fret lines and are then of course off-pitch. I think they're a hindrance more than a help TBH, better off with just the correctly positioned dot markers and ears (IMO of course) .
  21. Oh yeah, now I see it I cant unsee it. That's just ridiculous, and for such an expensive bass.
  22. I think the black hardware on this bass looks ace, and really compliments the neck
  23. Not sure what the problem is?
  24. Black precision basses with a white scratch plate and a rosewood neck. It’s just a cheapo bass combination.
  25. I like the look of woody basses but I dont like that Id have to 'mind' it with creams and stuff.
