Has the regular CTM30 been discontinued? They’re as rare as hens teeth , really like the look of them . I know everyone’s raving about the little stubby but I think I like the classic vibe of the old one.

Hi Folks I'm selling my Harley Benton '51 P Bass on the for sale section, just not getting enough use of of my bass. Its a great playing and sounding bass I'm just not crazy about the pick up position. The frets were dressed etc.

Harley Benton 51/55 style Precision Bass SOLD + gig bag
Quilly replied to Quilly's topic in Basses For Sale
Yeah I was really pleasantly surprised, the only “fault” I could find was the frets just weren’t finished at all. A local luthier sorted these and now it plays great. Big fat old school neck . I know people recarve the headstock to get the telebass head but I’m not into that . Again this was an impulse buy and Not really getting played . -

No offers below the asking price As new Harley Benton Precision bass. Mint. Set up and frets dressed , polished etc by Polmac luthier In Youghal, Cork. Plays like a dream , traditional big fat pbass neck , satin finish . Basswood body, maple neck . I realize they retail for £90 ish + shipping on Thomann, but this has had another £30 spent getting the frets decent (were a bit sharp out of the box) no horror stories under the scratch-plate either, finish is continuous. Pickup is decent and has powerful thumpy output . This bass is fantastic for the money and gig ready for any level of player. Surplus to requirement for me. Will include a padded Stagg. gigbag. Small blemish on pick guard

Harley Benton 51/55 type Precision w gigbag price incl ship
Quilly posted a topic in Basses For Sale
As new but set up and frets dressed polished by Local luthier. Sounds amazing and generally unbelievable value for money. I realize I’m asking Thomann prices but I included shipping , the frets have been smoothed out (they were sharp out of the box) . I include a stagg reasonable quality padded gig-bag. There seems to be a small blemish on the pick guard but it’s barley noticeable . No horror stories under the pick guard either . Finish is continuous -
Very reluctantly I’m selling this top class British made Green Monster. I just have too many old school heavy valve / mosfet heads and while I love them I need to thin the herd as I’m playing far fewer big gigs . So .. 500w 7 band EQ with compression and mid scoop EQ preamp setting . Foot switch included . Shipping to UK will cost extra but probably not a huge amount. It’s true what they say about trace watts btw. This thing is savage !!

I tried one on my bass and it didn’t work either .

Was is a regular guitar one ? I’m not sure they work with bass

I wanted to buy a hands free mike , earpiece thingy . The music store owner kindly put my off the idea and recommended just getting use to using a normal sm58 type mike and get a decent stand . I’m glad he did .

Boss do a synth bass pedal that a guitarist friend of mine bought but couldn’t get any use out of. He lend it to me...for tye life of me I couldn’t get a discernible note out if it . Boss usually do pretty good pedals but this thing was garbage 🗑

I hate these things when they get old and won’t pop out , come to think of it, who thought these were a great idea that HAD to be invented. My other bass had the plain button , guess what, that bass never fell off me. It’s just one thing I think is a superfluous gimmick . But there are many more . What’s your item you were suckered into buying and realized you had no need/use for .

I think they’re shipped directly from Poland to your house but if you go on their website they may have a list of Uk distributors . The amps are quite reasonably priced ...for what they are -

Pondering on whether I should move mine on also. I have too many amps and none of them light weight unfortunately. I very hesitant on selling off one of the last British Made Traces. I opened it once and had a look inside. Im no electronics expert but everything in there looks 'heavy gauge' , like it was build with heavy use (and abuse) in mind. Every time I used in rehearsal or gigs it always seemed to impress. It just seems to move a lot of air! .
