1. Let me think it over. I'll get back to you next week and best of luck if you sell it in the meantime. I imported an Ashdown ctm 100 there recently from Wales with no issues but your amp is a bit special . John
2. How heavy is this amp (roughly) it's not SVT heavy is it ? . Would you ship to Ireland?
3. How does the sound compare to that of a 'normal' p bass ?
4. That's a beautiful bass. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it . Would you ship to Ireland?
5. Never thought of not resting my thumb on the pickup but I see the wiring etc is exposed. Can you get a casing for the backup?
6. Thank Frank I have my eye on one also...butterscotch blond . I've heard them being used by a few American indie bands lately and they sound really responsive and full. I recently purchased a 100w all valve head recently so I imagine they would be a match made in heaven.
7. I'll get a quote tomorrow for you to Germany
8. Sure I can't say how much it would be but around €30. I'm waiting to hear back from someone interested . I'll let you know by tomorrow if it's still there .
9. Agree, Its a reluctant sale but I have a strict policy of selling stuff I'm not using. I just cant justify a 5 string bass and I prefer 4s to be honest.
10. Not sure of the exact weight but its both light and doesn't suffer from neck dive. I can weigh it tonight. I'm located in Waterford, Ireland
11. Hi Folks Thinking of going for a '51 reissue MIJ bass. Just love the sound from all the clips I've heard online. I already have a Sandberg VS P bass and a Mayones Jazz as 'working basses', I've done Stingrays , Active Humbuckers etc. I just want an old school earthy sound. Just wondering If anyone out there has ever owned one of these. Im a bit concerned about the slab body from a comfort perspective and 60 cycle hum from that little single coil. Anyone out there ever owned one or played one?
12. Hi Merton, can you tell me what cabinet you're using. While I'm loving the sound of the amp I think I'm just not getting enough clean headroom. I think my cabinet (a 300W 2*10 Genz Benz focus LT) isnt efficient or 'big' enough for this head. I think I need a 4 * 10.
13. Human Base Roxy B5. Swamp ash body maple / rosewood neck. 3 band eq. Active / Passive / parallel / Series switching . Delano extender humbucker. 24 frets . Seriously good 5 stringer for the money. Assembled in USA . Not sure of actual year of manufacture but probably 2015. Mint condition , low action. Top Quality gig bag included . Shipping price on request. PayPal only.
14. Simply Sandberg P4 (before California VS4 designation) 2010. Nicely worn in
15. Anyone ever try the lunchbox orange Guitar heads with bass? Ashdown and Ampeg appear to be the only makers of low wattage valve heads for Bass.
16. I've owned a little bastard 30w and currently own a CTM 100, I can't comment on the cheaper solid state or class D stuff but the valve heads sound great.
17.
Naughty
How he got fender AND Warwick to launch signature basses I'll never figure out.

19. I guess what I meant is that without the right advice everyone would buy TV gear (I.e fenders rics ampegs etc) without even considering brands like sandberg, Mike lulls or bertilingos. Until I started browsing bass direct I never heard of this stuff. Now I play a Sandberg from Germany and a Mayones from Poland, my fender and musicman are long gone.
20. In a band with 3 other 40-somethings and a young 20 something on drums we are all equally unreliable, I.e. Either putting kids to bed or chasing tail
21. It's a good thing to have somebody tell you the difference between what you want and what you really need. I'm sure there's lots and lots of Rickenbacker 4003 s and SVT monsters purchased from thomann et al on line and disappointed customers discovering that their teenage object of desire isn't exactly what they thought it was. These stores don't offer advice and will happily take your hard earned cash for the white elephant of your choose. So an expert opinion is invaluable.
22. I had one of there for a short while but it was impracticality heave but I couldn't fault it at all for the money. Sounded great. Dont understand all the bugera hate out there.
