1. Love the first four albums, discovered them when I was a 13 year old Maiden fan and really like their OOT sound and image
2.
Where are you based? .
Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
3.
Nah that will be buried with me I like the look of your bass so just umming and ahing as to whether I can afford it or not
No worries, they are very scarce in this condition, also the neck dimensions aren't too far from a Warwick.
4.
What sort of warwick are you after?
I'm thinking in the German Corvette/FNA/Fortress price range, I've owned a rockbass corvette fretless, a corvette standard and a corvette double buck, all of these basses were really great value for money and lovely tone. It might have helped that the rockbass was active but it did have a great fretless tone. Are you selling your $$?
5. One of the best basses I've ever owned, it's a real looker and so playable. The condition if I was being very critical would be 9 out of ten as there are two scratches on the back of the bass and one on the top of the body. All original and I can honestly say I'd never be tempted to modify anything regarding this bass. At the moment it's strung with D'addario Chromes which have only been on there a month, I've never gigged it as I haven't been in a band for four years now and while I'll definately miss this bass I'm also on the lookout for a mid range Warwick and this will help contribute towards that. The bass comes with a non Yamaha lockable hard shell case and I'd like to see £190 for this. Payment on collection or paypal/bank transfer would be fine, I can also have this couried at the buyers cost. Thanks for looking. I'l be listing this on ebay tonight so message me if you're interested.
6. Will list this on ebay in the next few days - grab it while you can.
7. Just to give an idea of what this bass can do in the right hands (not mine unfortunately) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_1LQDNiIcA
8. Up for sale here we have my Yamaha RBX800A, it's an active 24 fret four string bass made in 1988. These are very easy to play and produce some really punchy bass sounds from the p and j pickups, quite a light bass - 3.6 kg. The headstock is a real unique design as it has a real three dimensional effect to it. The finish has some cosmetic flaws on the bottom edges and back of the bass but it's very clean from the front. I'm looking for £200 collected or I could courier for an extra £20 if interested. Thanks Andrew
9.
Actually no. Derived from the Ibanez Affirma which was designed by Rolf Spuler. And personally I think it looks great.
Each to their own, I like a lot of the older Ibanez basses Blazer, Roadster, Musician, ATK, but I like more classic shapes I suppose. To me it looks like it's been left out in the sun for a bit too long.
10. The Ibanez EDA 900
11. When I was in my early twenties, my band wanted to cover this and I practiced it a bit. When I came to gig it though I found its more a test of endurance, especially trying to keep time when everyone drops out.
12. The call of ktulu is a great bass part to practice, probably my favourite Cliff Burton era tunes.
