Hi, I need help, I play a fender p with my fingers, problem is I have quite small hands, I've always found that I shred the skin on my last two fingers quite badly, I lube the old strings which helps a bit but with gigging quite a bit I need something else, so ... I want a clean punchy sound but with a smooth string what do you recommend?

For sale, my 1975 reissue USA Jazz bass in natural aged maple + aged block inlays, immaculate condition,this is a fine example of an incredibly lively instrument, , a fast straight neck, chrome covers, both cream and black pick up covers included and if you want to add it a string dampener to stick on the bridge cover. This will also be in its original hard case, has been kept in a pet and smoke free home. Collection only from St Albans or North London, these retail in the region of £2000 so grab a bargain. I have a Genz Benz shuttle 6.0 with a 112 and extra 210 I actually have a second 210 which I bought for outside gigs but have never really used it, incredibly loud set up but I change my gear every couple of years.

Can anyone help I'm looking at changing my set up, I'm a finger player using a lovely custom shop P bass however I want a bit more punch and am either considering the markbass ninja and Ninja 2x10 possibly adding another cab if needed or an Aguilar 500 tone hammer and a 2x10 I have tried neither ... have you? I play mainly pop/rock in a pub band.
