  1. I like those Trace amps and the WEM cab. But too much hassle to get it sent over...

  3. What about Chic - Everybody Dance? Picking without the pick.

  5. It’s not too bad with the fingers. Marcus Miller plays it double thumbing. To me that seems unreal.
  6. I recently bought a set from a gentleman on here, and I am only using 4 of the 5 strings. Brand new B string free if you pay for postage. Cheers
  7. I've seen AC/DC 3 times and they were £75 each time. I like Marcus though, bet he sounds great live.
  8. Sorry to hear that. Good luck with the sale Ben.
  9. Yes, definitely. I love the silverface also but this combination of blonde with blackface and old grill does it for me.
  10. I'll buy them all! But what is the size? :-)
  11. Lovely guitar amp for sale. 1964, pre CBS Fender Bandmaster Blackface with Blonde tolex. Matching cab has original speakers. Tolex has been replaced along with the corner protectors. Transformator replaced for an original Hammond one. Possible trades for Gibson, Fender guitars - let me know what you have. Thanks for looking.
  12. The one I bought before was off a modern American (I think) and didn’t hit my JV jazz. Now I have a Japanese 60’s FSR Jazz Bass in Walnut. I’m thinking tort pickguard...
  13. How do I know what size pickguard is on my jazz bass? I bought one in the past and it didn't fit my bass.
  14. I met with Ben last night to trade basses. Very nice guy. Straight forward deal and arrived on time. Thanks
  15. It used to be mine a while ago. It has wiring loom made by kiOgon and if I recall correctly has the smaller pots. Don’t remember which brand but not CTS... I think it was Bourns but not sure. Lovely growl and the neck is fabulous. Good luck!
  16. I really hope it’ll be gone by then!
  17. Come whenever you want. You can stay overnight and play it :-)
  18. I think it’s definitely correct one for the era.

  20. All the JV's I played/tried were superb. My JV PBass to me is as close to the pre-CBS Fender as it gets. The only P Bass that instantly felt better to me was a 66 P Bass that belongs to Steve Browning. What a bass that is... I used to have a JV Jazz too and it's superb. You don't even need to plug it in to feel that it has this lovely 60's jazz growl/burp. Awesome. And the finish on the neck is very much to my liking too. I'd pay attention to the pickups - the original ones are spot on.
