1. Fair enough, I’m not a big fan either. The way I look at it is - I’ve heard about Jaco, but he’s never heard about me. And that goes for any other musician that I “don’t get” :-)
 2. That’s the most “solo” you ever get from Malcolm. Just superb.
 3. I understand your point of view. But, it’s the same like you would get pissed off about the comments under the videos. There’s nothing you can do about it. Hate is a strong feeling, not necessarily a good one either. These guys do it for living, and they need people to click on their videos to get paid. And YouTube makes it super hard for them. If they still manage to make a living out of it - I say well done. Just another point of view. But I do know what you mean, it gets annoying sometimes when that’s the only thing you see when typing “Bass”.
 4. My all time favourite guitarist. Very sad.
 5. There’s another one just under this one for £650!
 6.
Thanks chaps. I've just returned from Edinburgh with this bah'gin , indeed. The seller also included a stand and a set of strings ... and I narrowly missed getting a parking ticket!
Fabulous :-)
 7. Don't know, just felt like maybe it could be a good idea. But I agree that with most covers - it's best to try to get as close to the original as possible. And that's what I'll do. Thanks
 8. I believe they made in Poland. It’s one of the first brands from Poland, that “made it to the west” next to Mayones and Nexus. I bet it’s an awesome bass.
 9. Hello, We’re preparing a little set list for our new vocalist, and I have a little problem with one track. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F9dytLAEPYE I got everything down, but when it comes to the bridge at 2:25, I would like to play something simpler. I have no idea how to do it as the bass there plays such a big role. Is it a good idea? I’m only thinking that as the keyboard player in the band I’m in is quite amazing, and I think he could play a little something there. Suggestions what to do please. Maybe there’s no point of changing anything and just play it as it is? Thank you
 10. Brian bought strings off me. Super easy transaction, great communication. Thanks

 12. Apparently it's a handmade, boutique brand from Bulgaria. The prices are a bit silly on reverb - is it rare? I've never heard about them. Anybody here has any experience with them? Thanks

 16. Traded basses with Julian, great communication, nice packaging, friendly guy. Highly recommended. Enjoy the P Bass Julian!
 17. Traded, thanks
 18.
Oh my. That's nice.
Thank you. Come and have a play over a beverage if you want!
 19. Recently got it in a trade. One of the best P Bass tones I've had a pleasure to produce. But I prefer the real vintage feel of my JV P Bass. So, this one is up for sale/trade. It's in ''like new'' condition :-) The frets look perfect, no marks on the fretboard whatsoever. If you want to have a play, I'm in Portsmouth (for those who are on their phones). Any questions - just ask. WEIGHT - My kitchen scale shows 4190g

Bolt-on Neck
34" scale
Alder body
Maple neck
Rosewood fingerboard
42mm bone nut
Thin "U" neck contour
21 XJ frets
Chrome hardware
Gotoh tuners
Gotoh bridge
Seymour Duncan Antiquity J bridge pickup
Seymour Duncan Antiquity P neck pickup
ESP and dot inlays
Original hardcase
Trade wise I am looking for something different than a road worn P Bass - preferably with a maple fretboard - just send me a PM and we'll talk.
 20. One of the best P Basses ever made. Good luck with the sale!

 22. If you can get the desired sound slowly, just keep doing that. It always works for me. Slow it right dooooown. Before you know it - you’ll do it - without thinking. Somebody told me once - if you can play something slow - you can play it fast. If you can play it fast - that doesn’t necessarily mean you can play it slow. I hope that makes sense. Good luck!
