9.
That's a nice looking Jazz, Pawel! GLWTS
Thank you for the kind words Nik. It is indeed a good looking jazz with that vintage vibe :-)
 10. Hello, This is a bass I got from Raslee on here as a part of a trade we did few months back. It has been put together by Lee to specs of his original 1975 Jazz Bass that he used to own. I really like this one, you don't need to plug it in to know that it sounds good. And Lindy Fralin pickups make it sound really cool when plugged in. I am only putting it up as I want a Precision - so trades for that welcome - preferably the ones with rosewood fretboard - PM me with the offer and we'll see, cash adjustment both ways possible. The price is basically how much we agreed on with Raslee plus the luthier treatment and a gig bag. So, the bass: Body: 70's Greco made from ash Neck: Japanese All Parts maple neck without the neck stamp - lacquered to look vintage - feels really nice Tuners - 90's Mexican Fender jazz Lindy fralin PU's 5% overwound (warmer sound) 3 x CTS pots (250k) specially hand selected for just the right balance between the pickups 1 x N.O.S Russian Military spec PIO (capacitor) 0.047uF 1 x Neutrik stereo jack (output) wired in mono doubling the ground The bass has been professionally set up by a local luthier and it's really easy to play. 11.
You should hear it "in real".. its unbelievable. Sadly i dont play so much fretless these days and with a baby coming up i need to prioritise the fretted bass. Oh, and i am open to trades Or a good cash offer
I would happily get it just to look at it as I have never even touched a fretless - I wouldn't know what to do. Unfortunately, financial situation isn't allowing me to do that.
Beautiful sounding bass, but fabulous playing too! GLWTS
That is true!
 12. That sounds so good... Good luck with the sale.
 13. Just checked the weight - it's 4000g +/- 50g.
 14. Here's some chops from Eric Czar! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fBrmZ-RZYN4
 15. Oh, and the weight is around 4kgs. Feels really light. I am away from home until tomorrow, then I will let you know the exact weight. Thanks
 16.
weight? how would you describe the neck (for instance, against the Fender Precision or Jazz)? and is this different from a standard Votan?
Hello, the differences between the standard Votàn can be found above in the comments - type of wood on the body and neck plate. The neck to me is very comfortable. A lot smaller than precision and very similar/little thicker than standard jazz. To me the bass is very easy to play and the neck is really fast. It's probably the most comfortable bass I've played - but then again - I haven't been playing bass for that long. I guess it's best to try it yourself :-)
