1. Hi all, Rig change-around means I'm definitely moving this on now. These are now going for £670 (!!!) new in the UK, so I think this fair for an item / brand with renowned build quality and longevity. I MIGHT be interested in trade for a compact Class D head (200 - 350W type thing) with cash transfer as appropriate, give me a shout if that sounds good. I don't think I need to go into detail about what it's like. Good condition inside and out and comes with a Gear4music 3U case with carry handle and pouches - very convenient. The original rack ears will of course be supplied. More photos can be supplied as requested, tryouts in Bristol welcome. Do have a look at my other post for pedals etc also. 2. £120 ----- SOLD ----- Voodoo Power 2 Plus - £120 I also have some spare patch cables if you are in need, just ask me. One of the best around, with 8 isolated outputs: http://www.voodoolab.com/pedalpower_2.htm 9/12V (x4) – Standard 9V and 12V Boss ACA 9V (x2) – High Current 9V and Line 6 Modelers 9V (x2) – Standard 9V With Battery Sag Control 18V/24V – Using Custom Cables
3. No wonder the one10's are so hard to find used: noone wants to part with them!
4. Ibanez Promethean p3110. Small, light, all the connectivity you want and is more than enough for solo practice or even small band rehearsals (300W). Can be linked to a second cab for more oomph.
5. I keep looking at this over and over and over again. I can't really justify it until I've sold at least one of my guitars and amp though :-(
6. bump
7. SOLD Morning all, EHX Bass Soul Food for sale. It's been an 'always on' device for me since I've had it, but I'm changing my rig around slightly so it's not essential anymore. In excellent condition with box and instructions. Thanks
8.
I've always supported smaller British business where i can; Shuker, MJW, DHA, Hot Rod (Pickups), Barefaced, Etc. I'd be on the phone to Bloodstone telling him your preferences, asking for some advice and seeing what he comes up with. I really value being able to discuss the products I buy with the man that makes them. If it doesn't work out for you try Hot Rod pickups in Colchester. I have a set of Nighttrain PJ pups from there and they are fabulous. I also have a custom set of Jazz pups from HR too, just no Jazz to put them in!
@Sean, I've been looking at getting another P/J and going for the Nighttrain pickups - a useable tone from the P when I need it, and not too scooped?
9. All good with the Promethean! I'm not looking properly to be honest, just interested to hear opinions. Naturally curious I suppose :-)
10. Ah yes, I did see those threads - I should have looked more closely. The Handbox does look rather interesting I must say....
11. Can anyone help...?
12. As per the title, anyone had experience of both? Same sort of power, similar price, was wondering how they match up.
13. Withdrawn - it's too good to sell.

15. PLEASE DELETE, Advert being redone My moving on of guitar equipment continues; it's a commitment to bass playing and trying in vain to make some space (my sizeable fancy dress collection has been relegated to the new shed, sad times). 2002 model from a very underrated British luthier. Twin humbuckers with a 3-way selector and coil tap; a host of highly usable sounds are available. It plays and sounds as good as my Les Paul; I really don't know why these aren't seen around much. There's a dink on the front near the left side of the bridge pickup, just visible in the photo. Aside from that it's in great condition (with no fret wear). Trials in Bristol most welcome of course; I'd be potentially interested in trades for bass equipment also. 16. It's easier than ever to ensure everyone stays informed. I have a busy job yet still manage to take a couple of minutes to update song suggestions and rehearsal dates on our shared Google Sheets. I do wonder if being a cluster**k like the drummer mentioned is a choice and he's being awkward for the sake of it. I'm sure you'll find someone more suitable.
17. Can't seem to find the price for the R400, Amy idea?
18. GK? My 700RB2 is rather versatile and I'm sure you'll find that or the 1001RB2 used online.
19. Sold a pedal to Mike;no dramas at all, another smooth transaction and a happy BCer!
20. Yeah that crossed my mind too, but the head actually says 'jazz bass special'. A bitsa job perhaps.
21. Ok so I stumbled upon this on FB marketplace. I have an 80s Jazz Special and love it; I'm intrigued and confused by this one that seemingly has a mix of original and replacement parts (different tuners and pickups). Thoughts, anyone? https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=jazz%20special
22. I had a similar problem with ParcelFarce. After sending a bass through and it not arriving after 5 days (was due within two), I had to make several calls with its description to find out what was going on. Turns out it was left in a depot somewhere and forgotten about. I think 'the label has come off' would be a cheap excuse for incompetence, to be honest. I had a similar experience with UPS where they stated 'difficult operating conditions' or some sh**e - again, left in a depot. I've only ever trusted DPD; they're well worth the extra few quid you might spent for proper tracking and decent drivers who don't even try to find your property, or leave 10 seconds after buzzing the door because they're in a rush.
23. Yup, it's ridiculously loud, but it does sound the best when it gets to such neighbour-displeasing volumes! Time to advertise on a guitar site I think....
