  1. Hmmm - two and a half hours drive M4/M5 is a bit of a trek for me.
  2. I didn't even bother going to the link!
  3. The "Fender USA" is a bit tenuous - it's really a partsblaster. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-USA-Standard-active-p-j-Bass-with-Upgraded-Hardware-neck/264811082535 Body: original Neck: replaced (MIM) Pickups: replaced (Tesla) Bridge: replaced (Babicz) Pickguard: replaced (custom) Tuners: replaced (Schaller) Strap buttons: replaced (Schaller) Electrics: replaced (active) The seller is clear in the description and the price ain't bad, though.
  4. I mean, it's had a couple of minor mods, but misspelling the name is sacrilege!
  5. http://www.status-graphite.com/status/frames/index_home.html
  6. The Burns pickup might be worth a couple of quid. But the rest of it isn't! The asking price is delusional.
  7. Hehe - I was, of course, being a smartass! 🙂 http://www.wilhsteinberg.de/Piano?lang=en Status Graphite strings may fit (I think I have some on a couple of Spirits).
  8. A "Squire", eh...
  9. I reckon Steinberg strings might be too heavy, especially off a grand piano!
  10. Nah - the purists complained when they put in the first extra pair of screws!
  11. I've got a 5-string one of these and it is rather nice, though the neck is like a tree-trunk.
  12. Ric's headstock, TRC, and some of the body shape are trademarked. Their brand name and logo are too, of course, so anything non-RIC bearing that logo is counterfeit.
  13. (I reported it too, BTW.) There does seem to be more tolerance for counterfeit Fenders, but the RIC Police seem to have stepped back as well.
  14. This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing.
  15. It's still up on ebay.
  16. I have to say that buying Fenders is a minefield; maybe it was Fender's plan to sell new guitars: allow the market to become flooded with fakes, so the only way to be sure is to buy new!
  17. Right - I see it - wow! Either the seller is a crook or they were done.
  18. The page won't even display properly for me!
  19. Looks like it's been well and truly knobbled!
  20. And voila - it wasn't!
  21. one-hole-two-hole-three-hole-four-hole-five-hole-six--hole--se-ven--hole---eight----zzzzzzzzzz...
  22. Did you nod off to sleep whilst you were doing it?
  23. Seller has added a note to the description.
  24. Yep - it's super authentic!
