  1. Be very careful to watch for compatibility with other kit if you're looking to use its MIDI capabilities. I had to spend nearly as much again to get something to change program numbers.
  2. A Whist card - what the heck...???
  3. Can't be arsed to click on the link...
  4. This is one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite albums, but some say the video wrecked his career and led to people deliberately mispronouncing his surname. A more grown-up live version with Ringo...
  5. Well that solves a mystery! 🙂
  6. It looks like a lot of work was put into that. Shame it turned out ugly.
  7. They did have Collection in person as an option!
  8. It looks like it's been pulled - was in the The Real UK Guitar/Amp/Gear Exchange group.
  9. Now that's more appropriate! (The guy is getting roasted on FB, fyi.)
  10. Had I been going to/past Sheffield I would likely have stopped off to get this, but sadly not.
  11. Looks like a lava lamp.
  12. I reckon plenty of hand sanitiser should cover the handling of instruments. The SE & Midlands bashes I've been to have had plenty of space for folks, so distancing shouldn't be an insurmountable issue. Masks if you need them - just like in shops & suchlike. The bottom line is you'll probably be more at risk going to a supermarket. (IMHO) Plus a healthy dose of common sense on the part of all attendees.
  13. Hmmm - two and a half hours drive M4/M5 is a bit of a trek for me.
  14. I didn't even bother going to the link!
  15. The "Fender USA" is a bit tenuous - it's really a partsblaster. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-USA-Standard-active-p-j-Bass-with-Upgraded-Hardware-neck/264811082535 Body: original Neck: replaced (MIM) Pickups: replaced (Tesla) Bridge: replaced (Babicz) Pickguard: replaced (custom) Tuners: replaced (Schaller) Strap buttons: replaced (Schaller) Electrics: replaced (active) The seller is clear in the description and the price ain't bad, though.
  16. I mean, it's had a couple of minor mods, but misspelling the name is sacrilege!
  17. http://www.status-graphite.com/status/frames/index_home.html
  18. The Burns pickup might be worth a couple of quid. But the rest of it isn't! The asking price is delusional.
  19. Hehe - I was, of course, being a smartass! 🙂 http://www.wilhsteinberg.de/Piano?lang=en Status Graphite strings may fit (I think I have some on a couple of Spirits).
  20. A "Squire", eh...
  21. I reckon Steinberg strings might be too heavy, especially off a grand piano!
  22. Nah - the purists complained when they put in the first extra pair of screws!
