  1. Thanks for putting that right - much appreciated
  2. I find it hard to trust "Fender" auctions & ads.
  3. I would've thought something like that too, if I hadn't remembered the new rules...
  4. I spotted that one today and reported it to ebay (don't expect them to do much though...).
  5. Ah yes - Autumnglo!
  6. Ooh look, that's my bass pedals!
  7. Montezuma Brown. i guess it has the elongated heel at the headstock end too. I've got a push-pull pot on mine so I can bypass the .0047 series cap, like they do on the 4003. I've no idea what those screws are for - it certainly wasn't the stock Ric pickup surround and it doesn't look like where they'd be for a 50s style pickguard.
  8. More Banjo than bass...
  9. Them pesky SansAmps which are the wrong way round!
  10. OK - it's not a real Ric...
  11. I missed that last bit - the company seems to want to insult its potential customers.
  12. This one's trying to break out of its whiteness...
  13. Andthankyouverymuchindeed! 🙂
  14. Regarding the Bite headstock... ...it's not to my taste!
  15. An alternative view.
  16. Nice pair!
  17. As per last year, it depends upon location.
  18. Sorry to jump in, but that Hipshot eXtender is £65 new. https://www.btnmusic.co.uk/product/hipshot-bt2-bass-xtender/
  19. Not an 'eel then?
  20. Ah, I see it - the picture changes as you select the option. It's just slightly less hideous! (IMHO, of course...)
  21. Likewise - I thought that maybe the headstock was just their advertising/clickbait, but the configurator Fretboard & Headstock section didn't give any options. They only offer the Gotoh folded-plate bridge too. I have to say that I can't see any circumstance under which I would buy one of those.
  22. I might get some of those for my Rickenberger, as the neck is a bit scruffy and I can't see the dots. (The whole feel of the bass is that the neck has shifted away by 2 frets, compared to my Rics and others, so I can't play it without looking.)
