  1. I think ebay would take it down, as it's not a genuine auction.
  2. I didn't use it full up on my board (I wasn't after that much distortion!), but the shop did it just to compare.
  3. OK - found it!
  4. It was on this tour... The pedals are clear to see at 1:10.
  5. (Actually, I have a Nathan East tone shaper pedal unit thingy somewhere...)
  6. I saw him once - I remember he had some Moog Taurus pedals, but I don't recall what his bass was.
  7. Oh - I hadn't noticed them. 😎
  8. The Ric ones are standard Schaller fit - I have normal Schallers on other guitars too and my strap has Schaller fittings. Beware of the cheap copies - some of them don't push-on (the Schallers have a slight bevel on the locking pin. As far as the button+screw ones, Grover make good ones (branded Quik-Release) and Fender did them for a while. The knurled ones are the older style (and they are the same part as the mute height adjusters!).
  9. I'll update you if that happens...
  10. The Ric strap buttons are single-piece with threaded bolts rather than the more common button with a screw. They fit Schaller Straplocks (I think they may even be made by Schaller?)(as are the Ric machines). There are two folks who are making high quality Ric replicas - I've been contemplating getting a custom build, but I've just bought a Ric barebones body/neck to which I am going to add all non-Ric parts (bar Strap buttons, jack plate, and TRC).
  11. The sofa's alright.
  12. I don't know about value, but I could walk past a Yamaha without even noticing it was there.
  13. Yep - smells as fishy as an old kipper.
  14. He's including the picture of the logo, so he is describing it as a Fender.
  15. The SB1000 was probably the best Japanese bass ever made. I had an SB700 in the 70s/80s.
  16. I picked up a Darkglass Vintage Microtubes a month ago, but it was bloody noisy BUZZZZZZZZZZ!!!! Even with the input muted (at the tuner). So, I took it back out of my pedalboard. I went back to Wunjo and they put it alongside another Darkglass one; with all the knobs turned up full, it buzzed too. So, I got a refund. (Thanks to Wunjo for their great customer service!)
  17. I've got an Aria PE Elite guitar - it's quite nice. OK, so it's not an original 70s PE-1000, but I'll manage to live with the disappointment.
  18. He is, however, including pictures of the Fender logo, which comprises part of the item details.
  19. Too much - I was talking with someone about a white one of those last year, but they wanted more than I wanted to pay.
  20. They keep appearing on the Ugly Guitars fb group.
  21. It was funny, though!
  22. FYI, I've got two of these (each cost me a fiver more than the asking price here); one made an appearance at the recent SE Bass Bash and seemed to be alright.
