I was quite taken by this BC Rich copy which appeared on the "Also viewed" list.

(Apparently its maker has been certified.)
Looks like someone was trying to turn an SG into a Strat!

I met Mo Foster in the 80s after a Jeff Beck gig (on the There & Back tour) and he also played on Michael Schenker's 1st album (same rhythm section as on the JB album, with Simon Philips).
I'm in Berkshire, 20 miles West of London and the snow is settling; I'm debating whether to do the 2-mile drive to work!
Hopefully things will be clear on Saturday, so I'll be able to get the train in...
It's not a Ric - it's a Chickenbacker, probably £250 new (give or take the paint job).
(Oh, and I've played my Ric through your amp, and it sounded pretty good!)
Thanks for you hospitality, Andy; it was nice chatting with you and your lovely lady too!
(Oh, and the cab was exactly what I wanted, so that was an easy buy...)
I think that disclosure would be good, but it's perfectly alright (and even enhancing) to have had work done by a respected maker/repairman.
Dunno what the impact on value would/should be though.
Status were first called Strata, but Fender got on their case, so they re-branded.
The Japanese Status pre-dated that, but the seller has confused the two; this one's just a 70s copy, nothing special.
I've got an S1 5-string too; it's a nce, light, fast, comfortable bass.
I'd replace it with a headless graphite one, but that would cost a heck of a lot more!
I've got an AH150; I bought it new in the 80s and it did the club circuit fine, running through a Marshall 4x12.
I've now also got an Elf, but I've not used it much - I just had to have one...
