  1. It’s not a Chickenbacker.
  2. Yep - I think they're a nice unit and may get them on a couple of my basses. The issue is with the bass itself - they've moved the end of the body out so there's a gap after the tailpiece.
  3. I don't like that so much - it's like they've copied the Chickenbackers. I think they moved the position of the neck-body join.
  4. Ebay aren’t interested in taking down counterfeits anymore; they’ve got AI with a deficiency in the I part.
  5. I think so.
  6. Not dissimilar in colour to my slightly customised 2013.
  7. I saw them on that tour. We used to play Lights Out in a band I was in.
  8. AI is going to take over the world!
  9. That is in the true spirit of Rutherford's stuck-together Ric one.
  10. Ouch! Did you know I don’t? 🙂
  11. Do I need another Ric...????
  12. I have a Dano guitar; for some reason it's tuned DADGAD.
  13. The slippers match the cuffs... 🙂 It is a great bass!
  14. Stop press! There might be "an accompanying youtube video to show the guitar a bit for sound and balance" coming!
  15. It's like an Attitude without the neck pickup, scalloped frets, dual outputs, angled neck screws, and pretty much everything that comprises an Attitude. Marketing licence with the Billy Sheehan brand! It'd be interesting to see how it reacts to bending the neck forward to do a drop-D!
  16. £1k for a Squier - uh-huh...
  17. I rather like a vintage Japanese Tokai - some of their stuff was really good. I've always thought of the Vintage brand as in the same bracket as Squier, Epiphone, etc. Dunno about the other one.
  18. Back again - it's like yesterday once more...
  19. That is remarkably awful.
  20. Well, she certainly had her fan base, but I never latched on to her; I found her a bit disparaging of the music I liked and a somewhat offputting on the OGWT. (I guess "passed" is a shortening of "passed away", which has been a term used for many years.)
  21. My interest in music peaked when I could download easily from Pirate Bay; I'd have a listen, buy the album, and often go and see a band. As the option withered away, so did my interest and I've not really got into watching on YT as much as I might've. The last band I saw was James Oliver at the Kempton Park Guitar Show - he was really good.
  22. Yep - that chap is me! Except I'd like them with cloverleaf keys...
  23. ...and we used to have to sweep the lake...
