  1. It'd be overpriced at £180.
  2. Picture shows a Fender logo, but description is a vague disclaimer.
  3. I prefer the Ric bass neck to others; it's purely subjective.
  4. My feet catch the pulse and the purposeful stride.
  5. Fab little amps - everybody should have one.
  6. 40V, centre +, apparently!
  7. Yep - that one smelled worse than an old kipper, bent as a nine-bob note.
  8. I definitely want something to just add a little more crunch. I'm trying out a tube one at the moment... I'll give it a go with the Ric in stereo over the weekend, as I made a splitter box last week.
  9. Do you wanna touch? Yeah. Do you wanna ... (Oops - not allowed!)
  10. I think @ped likes these...
  11. Oh missus Ware I do like your hair cor-blimey...
  12. I'd have that, if it wasn't "oop norf" and me "darn sarf".
  13. 3 or 13A doesn’t really matter much; it just to protect the flex.
  14. Haha - I think it uses 12V internally; it's just they made it mains powered...
  15. Well today I went out and I came home with a Dean Markley Overlord tube pedal; it sounded pretty decent in the shop, so I'll be trying it out in my board. It's got an ECC83 valve in it. It neatly sidesteps the power supply question by having a captive mains lead - yep, a wire with a UK 13A plug on the end!
  16. Isn't that a kind of curry?
  17. I am still feeling a bit odd after that - I'm not used to selling Rics! Still, I do have 7 left... Nice meeting you & chatting, BTW!
  18. Looks like it's disappeared.
  19. I'm now wondering about giving the TC Tube Pilot a try - it is cheap...
  20. I do have a headless bass/guitar doubleneck.
  21. You need the thumb rests for the sound, but I don’t know what those two horizontal bars are for...
  22. I saw that - not keen on headless instruments with keywind tuners at the opposite end, though; it seems a bit daft to me.
