  1. It's really an accordian with strings on it.
  2. You can say "De photos spears and repairs" in a rasta voice...
  3. The Wilko pickups raise some doubts as to the authenticity.
  4. Yep - it's a Wilkinson conversion bridge I've had in my parts box for a while. I've got a real Ric with a Kahler too; surprisingly it's good for subtle stuff rather than dive bombers and pyrotechnics.
  5. I tried listening to the Grateful Dead and it sounded dull uninteresting countrified slop to me. Maybe some year I'll give it another try.
  6. For me they evolved throughout their career; the only duff album was the covers one.
  7. I picked up three barebones Chinese Ric copies recently; One is a 5-string (but I need pickups to fit). On is just going to be a generic 4-string. And the other is having brass fittings, including a Kahler whammy.

  9. Dunno - I just like Wish You Were Here better.
  10. I think Clockwork Angels is probably Rush’s best after Moving Pictures.
  11. I suppose wandering around in a trance-like state with your arms in the air is too...
  12. If people want to spend that much, then good on them; it's still only a cheap Squier to me.
  13. This is one of those essential pedals to own (or have owned) for a bass player.
  14. Emojis in the titles of listings - I tend to skip over them, especially if there are lots in the same format (on the basis it'll be a commercial seller).
  15. What a one-dimensional viewpoint that music is only valid if you can dance to it.
  16. Nobody (not even Jon Anderson) knows what Yes lyrics are about. They are often just random words which paint some kind of abstract picture. (Mind you, a lot of lyrics are like that.) As for goblins (or other wee folk), Olias is going to be your best bet.
  17. Mine has, ever since I put a sponge under the strings; I don't know what's gone wrong - do I need to fit a hi-mass bridge?
