  1. It is a conundrum, but then the choice is not to do things.
  2. My shooting club may be instituting tests before meets; it’s not too onerous.
  3. I have one of these - it is a perfect hub for a pedalboard, with Fx send and return; the sound is crisp and authoritative. It hoiked out a Sansamp from my setup.
  4. Everybody selling a Squier seems to thing they've got the one vintage holy-grail one.
  5. Another dubious Fender.
  6. You’re both wrong!
  7. I was just about to post this - maybe the "....er" brand suggests it's a bit ropey! But them machines look Japanese. And the seller has added a disclaimer too. So, could this be yet another dodgy "Fender" item for sale. (But I'm not going to say it, because the last time I pointed something out with a "Fender" logo on it I got insulted and sworn at!)
  8. Just so...
  9. I swapped my FI for a C4 today.
  10. I know, really. 🙂
  11. I have an EBS Microbass 2 and a DHA VT1 - they both blow the doors off the SansAmp.
  12. Right; FI out, C4 in!
  13. Why can't people be honest in their listings? This is titled "Fender bass guitar" and then in the description it says "I believe is a Korean copy".
  14. ...and some isn't. 🙂
  15. I'm a yes - we tend to keep a fair distance apart anyway and we can't be a slave to this damned virus forever. In all honesty, I'm more likely to catch it in my local supermarket than at a Bass Bash.
  16. I've got a couple of old TE GP11 amps - they're great. I've got an Elf - it's great. I've no issues with the company evolving; I do like the fact that the name still exists.
  17. That is one of the lamest ones I’ve seen.
  18. ...in which case it fails! 🙂
  19. What is the point of a bass with headless tuners and a headstock?
  20. £600 may be a fair price, but it isn't cheap.
  21. Mind you, I acquired a DHA VT1 valve preamp over the weekend and that is a hulk of a thing.
  22. Thanks for the info. I might take you up on the trade - will have a think. 🙂
  23. Sure - I keep "meaning to", but I've got plenty of things to do, so it's perpetually shoved to the back of the queue; it's more a question of enthusiasm and if it's a chore to do something which is intended to be for enjoyment, then there'll always be something more interesting to do. Yep - I can easily use the Morningstar with other kit, so all is good there; I've got a rack of MIDI synth stuff to be getting on with (Minitaur, Novation, Roland) and foot & keyboard controllers.
