17. Hi, I'm shifting this cos I don't like it and I don't need it. The pre-amp is not good but may make the basis of a project. There's a bit of foolishness went on at the heel where the neck joins the body where some idiot (me) tried to put a screw in so i could hang my strap there. Fifty quid gets a bit of the dosh I paid for it back, the postage bit is cos it might be ludicrously expensive to post as it's a bit on the large side, although not terribly heavy. That's as honest an assessment as I think I can manage. Here are some photos, oh and the rather nice large gig bag is of course included in the sale Pictures coming as soon as my account will let me delete all the old attachments I didn't realise I was storing Here's the link to Ebay it went on tonight (Thursday 21st) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...IT#ht_500wt_949
18. Bought a mic stand from Rick, took a while to get here owing to courier, (was posted promptly, courier took nine days to deliver it!!) Deal with this guy without any fears. Cheers Gary
19. Thanks for the tips chaps, DI is the way to go I think
20. Good afternoon bass chatters, Wondered if I could call on your collective wisdom as per what I might need to have handy for my stage set up when putting my amp through the PA. Up to now I've been lucky enough to play places that have taken care of this for me. I only use a small GP7 Trace Elliott combi amp. It's fine for pubs and what have you which is where we usually play. It has a DI output on the front but in order to go from the DI into the desk and through the PA, what would I need to purchase, is it fine just to go straight into the desk or do i need some sort of interface? I could perhaps buy a mic and stand, so if what would you recommend as a decent mic that's not going to break the bank? I'm fairly green, only played a dozen or so gigs up to now so any help or advice very welcome, thanks Gary
21. That's a nice bass at a fair price, what wood is that by the way? I own an older model in bubinga which I think may well be a keeper. As for being too old? Dude, you're never too old to learn! Good luck with the sale
22. How does it sound amped up?
