  1. Aria Pro ll SB1000 Great reissue of this classic by Aria, made in Korea. It's a really well built and versatile bass with great punchy sounds. The bass can be played passive (vol, tone) or active (varitone switch) and sounds great either way. The bass is in very good condition. There is a small damage to the lacquer on the front on the headstock, otherwise it looks pretty neat. All works like it should and it plays great with a low action. Asking €875 I am located in the Netherlands. Shipping is possible at buyers risk.
  2. One of the best shows I've attended must be Rival sons at de Boerderij in a town called Zoetermeer. The sound was good and felt close, and the feeling was really intimate. Another remarkable gig of them had been in Haarlem in 2013 when only a "handful" (my memory says around 50) of people attended. I could get a beer at the bar and walk straight back to the first row. The other best show I've seen must be the one that Sully Erna (frontman Godsmack) did in Amsterdam about 4 years ago. His solo stuff is really great on record and evenly great live with his band and female guest singer. Really exceptional. Of course there have been some lame shows too, but nothing I recall being exceptionally poor..
  3. I've owned a tribute L2000. That bass was nothing less compared to the US made brothers I've owned, when it came to sound, build quality and playability. I like them in natural, very classic! Glwts
  4. Those sound fantastic on a Mustang. Usually I'm not that a fan of vintage sounding flats, but these have a lot of character and are quite flexible too.
  5. Lakland Decade Beautiful and great Lakland from the skyline range. This transparent red Decade has an active preamp (vol, pan, bass, mid, treble), but also has a push/pull knob to switch to passive mode if wished so. All in all its a very versatile bass with a lot of great solid sounds. Build quality is very good with a tight neckpocket fit. Only high quality parts has been used to build this bass. The neck feels very nice with its jazz bass profile, satin finish and small vintage frets. Action can be set very low on this one. Currently it's fitted with Fender flats which suit the bass very well IMO. The Decade is in a good used condition. It has some usermarks like scuffs and scratches, but nothing significant. Overall it is in a clean condition. Asking €950 The bass is located in the Netherlands, but I am happy to ship at buyers risk. I am not really looking for trades, but might be tempted by really nice offers (precision, fender avri strat...)
  6. Now €500!
  7. Bought a nice stingray from Drew. All went smooth, Drew has been helpful and communicative. The bass had been packed well too. Thanks again Drew
  8. Drop to €525
  9. I have a sunburst (with maple board) one in transit right now. I've played some older Fernandes basses before, and they felt and sounded really good. I think the pickup/bridge position is a bit remarkable on the FJB-65. The pickup is a lot closer to the bridge than a 70s Fender. It seems like this has to do with the bridge position that seems further to the edge on 70s Fenders.
  10. Price dropped to €575
  11. Was it a p bass? 😁
  12. Rare Godin Zeta Z-11 bass. Very well built bass, made in Canada in (I assume) the first years of the 80s. It has some cool features like piezo Bridge, ebony fretboard and wavey Grover tuners. The bass looks very good for its age. It has some minor damages like dents, but nothing significant. The neck is straight and the frets show little wear. There are a few issues concerning the electrics though: apparently the piezo Bridge is defective, and also the electronics need to be revised or (partly) replaced. The original and rare Canadian made tolex hardcase is included. Asking €650 The bass is located in the Netherlands, but I am happy to ship at buyers risk.
