  1. Ibanez Musician MC924 Great vintage Ibanez top of the line model from 1980. It has passive and active electronics and has therefore a wide range of sounds. It plays good with medium low action (doesnt get as low as my Gibson, but it will be fine for most of us). Its a pretty bass with its nicely selected grained woods which show through the transparant lacquer. The fretboard is made of ebony The bass has a lot of battle scars and a crack in the lacquer at the controls. Ive had the frets leveled about half a year ago, so they are in great shape. All electronics work like they should, though a pot or 2 may benefit from a little drop of cleaning spray. Ive had the bass set up with Fender 45-100 flats at the moment. A cheap but clean hardcase is included in the sale. Fixed price now 550 Euros. I am willing to ship within europe/uk at buyers risk and expense. Rates may vary from 45-75 euros based on destination and shipping options. I know people will contact me that they ship basses from their country within europe for less, but I have only one shipping option that I know of (UPS) that takes this size parcels. PS: This bass had been listed previously (at a higher price point), but I withdrawn it because of doubts. Now really something has to go
  2. Best color scheme for a stingray imo
  3. Withdrawn because of lack of interest. I'll be setting it up as my flatwounds bass now
  4. Martin bought a guitar from me, and my experience with him has a 5 stars recognition. Contact was good along the transaction and he paid quick without any hassle. Thanks again Martin
  5. Great pedal from EHX Its in good shape (I've bought it new and have barely used it since) and all working of course. The specific type of adaptor that is needed for this pedal is included (European plug). Price: €150 Shipping within the EU/UK is included in the price.
  6. That's great looking! A dan Smith era copy with 60s pickup spacing🤗 It wouldn't look half that good without the white pickup covers. Slap on some covers and it looks pretty close to my 82: This bass has nothing to do with lightweight though; it's 11lbs.
  7. In my hunt for a Gibson G3, Paul contacted me. He offered me exactly what I'm looking for. This bass was for sale here earlier, but couldn't buy it at that time. So I was happy that it popped up in front of me, at a fair price and with the possibility of shipping. Paul arranged the shipping, packed well, and kept in touch with updates meanwhile. Yesterday the bass arrived in the Netherlands after just 2 days. Thanks again Paul. I'm really happy to have a (black) G3 back😎👍
  8. Some people don't care for that. If someone doesn't care for it, it's possible. Though it wouldn't be necessarily my choice. Most of the basses I've sold and shipped didn't have any case. I remove the neck for shipping then for solid packing. It's about 2/3 cheaper in shippingcosts.
  9. The bass can also be purchased without the case which will reduce the price a little and gives a possibility of cheaper shipping.
  10. Thanks people! And thanks Silver´. The Yamaha was not meant to go already. But I got a response for my Gibson G3 search earlier than I expected.....I couldnt refuse that one. My bank account is a little hungry now, so something has to shift. There is little actual interest in the Musician, so I am trying to sell the Yam now. To be honest I dont think I will miss it as I still have a precision special and a Squier Bullet for my P-like needs😊 I actually didnt need this BB in the first place, but GAS forced me to purchase it. The Musician might be withdrawn if this one sells, and the Yam might be withdrawn if the Musician sells. Cheers
  11. Lovely vintage Yamaha BB1000 in natural finish: This bass dates from 1978 according to the serial number. Of course this '78 BB looks great with its natural finish and black pickguard. It has a nice (presumably) macassar ebony fretboard and classy inlays. This bass plays and sounds just great. It has a fat neck profile which will not be anyone's taste, though it's lovely if you like it. In its 40 years of existence, this BB has been well used. There are a lot of user marks to be found. It has some fretwear, but the neck can be played with low action. Technically the bass is all fine, the neck is straight and well adjustable. As you can see from the pictures, the screw on the E tuner is not original. It's now fitted with rotosound rounds. The original hardcase is included in the sale. I bought this bass not too long ago from another BC member, as a bit of an impulsive purchase because it looks so damn fine. This really is a great bass, but I do not actually need it. Besides that, I just purchased a bass that I was really looking out for. I'm looking to get back what I spent on this bass: €675 The bass is located in the Netherlands. I am happy to ship within Europe/UK at buyers risk and expense. No trades, thanks.
  12. Fender N3 Jazz Bass pickups These came out of a American Deluxe Fender Jazz. They are in good working order and look clean too. I'd like to get €80,00 for the set (I also have the original Fender USA deluxe preamp that I might be prepared to sell along)
  13. From what I've read it's actually a thin foil that has been wrapped around the body to have it flamed. After that, the lacquer got applied. I owned 2 of these basses. One had a lot of cracks in the finish, which is pretty common for this range.
  14. Price dropped to 375 euro's
  15. I wish I still had my Fender P deluxe V to offer! Those Fenders are great versatile basses too, you won't be disappointed once you have one.
  16. Fender '62RI jazzmaster CIJ Up for sale or trade is my jazzmaster. It plays very easily and looks and sounds great, but I do not need it at the moment. As a bass player which plays guitar occasionally, 1 electric is enough. This guitar is crafted in Japan. It's a great looking guitar, with a nice piece of wood used for the body. It has a tight neck-pocket fitting as you can see on the pictures. This JM is very well built. The overall condition is very good. There is a little bit of fret wear, which doesn't affect playability. It is really easy playing with low action. Further there are some small cosmetic damages, but nothing worth mentioning. I've installed a allparts buzzstop for more pressure from the strings on the saddles. I'm asking €800 Trades concerning bass gear are welcome. I'll be especially interested in a Gibson G3 bass or a pretty early 90s Stingray with lacquered neck. I've got some more stuff to add in a trade if needed. The guitar is located in the Netherlands, but can be shipped with europe/uk. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions.
  17. I just forgot about my gas for these basses.... 😶
  18. The best finish for a MM in my opinion. Lovely. I prefer the lacquered necks too.
  19. Gone
  20. And it's off to Ireland This bass has been traded, please close. Thanks
