Haven’t played the Wal, but between Stingray and Thumb, I would definitely say Thumb. Assuming we define agressive as lots of mid and high. But it generally feels even more punchy too IMO

Yeah the Euros are great, and the value for money is one of the best. In the end it’s probably the same debate as Fender US vs Custom shop.

Haha just kidding anyway. Agree with the rest, they are insanely good, but 4000+ better? Probably not. Same way Foderas are probably not 8k better than ______ (please fill the blank with whatever decent bass you can get for 1-2k). whats for sure is that, they are pretty serious stuffs! To me they are fully worth every penny, but that’s because I just never found anything I liked as much for less money.

Hi everyone not exactly new here as I’ve been quietly reading for quite a while but it’s about time to say Hi and introduce myself. I am a French bassist, originally from Paris and living in arguably the best place in the world 🙂into pretty much all kind of music. Give me a Spector, a Fender JB, a set of Elixir and I am alright. Even though I’ve been suffering from GAS for the at least the past 15 years. Currently owning a JB RW, a Spector Coda US, and there is a new baby coming (hopefully safely) soon. Previously I’ve owned quite a few stuffs with some of my most regretted ones néons some SSD NS4 US, Fbass BN5 and... no that’s it, all the rest was just a temporary fix for my GAS. No band at the moment, just back into business after a +/- 5 years break. Cheers
