  1. Perfect deal in all ways Love my Fender deluxe bridges. Cheers Dan, Andy
  2. I bought one of these last week, an older version that is fully black on the back of the neck. It’s a powerful P and superbly well constructed. I am gobsmacked they go for so little as are head and shoulders above Mex Ps and close to US standard.
  3. It’s an awesome pedal 🙏
  4. All four are the cheaper range of TC Electronic pedals. As some have said, Forcefield, Afterglow, Nether and Skysurfer reverb pedal. All good and extremely well built. Not overly keen on the Skysurfer as is a bit overwhelming for a reverb pedal but the others are pretty good.
  5. Is the fender bridge still available? If so, consider sold cheers, Andy
  6. I’m not overly sure about the pbass yet. I bought it from my other half’s girlfriend who had owned it from new. What I know it’s an 86 MIJ either classed as a contemporary or boxer series. Front loaded pups with a control plate at the back, volume & tone and doesn’t appear active. It’s pretty awesome though 👍
  7. My two boards 👍
  8. Absolute plug n play with those monsters! There is a reason as to why they are on stages all over the world and in my humble opinion, there is nothing like it nor will beat it!
  9. If you remove the gap and use S908282 - https://www.guitarinsite.nl/serienummers-fender_eng.php Similar headstock with no gap in the serial: https://www.12fret.com/sold/fender-precision-bass-1978/
  10. It's the gap between the S and 90 that gets me.
  11. I think the decal is suspect and never seen an orange burst effect on a fender p.
  12. Thoughts? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Precision-Bass-fretless-vintage-1978-totally-original-immaculate-/284082380011?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
  13. That is awful sending lots of love and wishing you a speedy recovery.
  14. Strings that won't stay at the bottom of the tuner!
  15. This is excellent and must be near the end for Phil
  16. Young Neil with the dear departed Gary Moore Great line up though

  20. So he did 👍 well you do learn something new every day 😎 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitesnake_(album)
  21. Met Neil Murray after a Snakecharmer gig in Edinburgh, two years ago. Really nice fella.
  22. Most things before the Slide it in remix. Anything post this isn't Neil unfortunately.
  23. Growing up in the 60/70/80s afforded me the pleasure of seeing and hearing some of the most amazing bass players on the planet - personal influences inc. in no particular order: Ali McMordie, Phil Lynott, Cliff Williams, Roger Glover, Les Claypool, Geddy Lee, Larry Graham, Flea, Jack Bruce, Carol Kaye, Donald Dunn and many, many more! I have been listening to Whitesnake and Snakecharmer a fair bit lately and I have to say Neil Murray is probably my personal favourite and the player who has influenced my playing most. His technique, dynamics, melody, nuances and lovely runs in songs are so cool and so understated! So starting an appreciation thread for Neil but open to all to discuss and to add your most influential and why? Andy
  24. It’s totally awesome 👏
  25. Cool man 👍 I’ll take it. Work out payment with you tomorrow. cheers, andy
