[/quote] Completely concur with this experience. The BW are phenomenally great speakers that can handle anything.     looks like a CIJ Precision, 50's reissue. Only one question: what do you mean by "I just took one pickup off"? These come with only one pup and if it is what I think it is then £300 a good price.

    Really sorry to hear that. Maybe a wee mail to Yamaha as well might make up for things. My Indonesian BB714 is superbly made, I'm really surprised that this has occurred because Yamaha QC is second to no other. andy
