1. my little fellow (nearly three) has been enjoying watching the Blues Brothers with me of late - he sings and dances to the music - it's my favourite film of all time and it is particularly gratifying to have my youngest appreciate it so much. Anyhoo back to duck, I played through some of the blues brother's songs this morning and realised that mr dunn is a clever, clever man! talk about the economy of motion? his playing is superb but when you get into it a pattern begins to emerge and his style sticks out. He appears to play in blocks, keeping all notes close at hand allowing for his number and speed of notes maximised and appearing to be effortless in delivery you clever man mr dunn. Has anyone notice that he does not look at the fret board when playing? thoughts? andy

 8. hey, jazz bass 5 screws pbass 3 screws truthfully never tried it, but sure it would. take the centre hole and drill the other two from there. the other holes are for string through body. I'm in a right dilema with this bridge as there is just something right about it as in anchorage, adjustment, feel and looks! it took me an age to make a decision on whether to sell this or my badass II. cheers andy

 21.
Speakons are better than 1/4 in jacks but to suggest jacks are NFG or fragile is ridiculous. Speakons lock so anyone tripping over a lead is either gonna pull the cable from the plug or pull your amp off the top of your cab so keep your leads short! If you have a rig with speakons and jacks then it makes sense to use speakons cos they is better, but to decide not to buy something cos it only has jacks is dumb.
very true...had this happen to me some time ago, fortunately it wasn't my gear or I would have hit the roof and the drunken bum who did it! It would be good to find out if there is a sonic difference though?? good quality 'locking' style leads can make such a difference to hifi especially when extracting information from a turntable.
