1. dont worry artisan - you'll love the 3pro! I hooked up to my 2 x svt410 yesterday and man it rocked! I could just as easily part with the remainder of my gear! Loads of scope for sound and tuning - for me its simply does what it says on the box! enjoy andy
2. remember though 15% goes to ebay when all fees are added....greedy bar stewards those ebay owners!
3. you know, in all my years playing I have not noticed any huge difference in speakon over 1/4 jack but someone please feel free to enlighten me! please speak in practical sound terms as techincal specs dont do it for me. It is though important to pair the right cab with your svt 3 pro. I gig with my 3pro and other b410hlf, they are great together! the full range of this cab is perfect for the type of music I play - rock - while not causing any lower back pain when transporting to gigs. andy
4. I'm a big ampeg fan, great for rock! as you have listed a few things, take some time out and go listen to all this stuff as you will need to know! soundcontrol do a fourteen day return policy - or they did - allowing you to buy the gear try it and if it did not work out excahnge within this time period.

11. I have a b410hlf 4ohm 450watt cab in new condition for sale..£300, works incredibly well with the 3pro. andy
12. Don't be too down on the Chinese/Vietnam made equipment, I have two B410hls which are superb! the only thing I don't like is the tolex, it scuffs and tears fairly easily. For sound, size and flexibility, I cant fault the build nor quality.
13. 100% correct Mr Warwickhunt! in my experience, Soundcontrol has given me a lone of an amp when necessary. stick with the Ampeg though - they might even have an exchange in the shop but again, as WH says, don't go in all emotional be reasonable with them and you'll get what you need. andy
14.
Oh god.... that's disgusting! it's not the design.... it's the paint more than anything, looks like someone just slapped a tub of dulux on there or something!
exactly my thoughts!
15. even a manufacturers link to the product would be good. andy
16. Delighted with my svt3pro - the pre/power tubes make such a difference.

20. Loving them Nev thanks. was stunned when got them home, my mum, who loaned me the money, commented on how new they looked! she does not normally comment on my bass gear! andy

22. Can hear that! Herbie Flowers - very famous man!
23. Great Head! worth every penny and...then some! what a steal at £400! Soundcontrol have put the price on this head back up-to £879
24. Morning folks, Was driving through to Glasgow this morning listening to Rock Radio 96.3 FM. It struck me when listening to Rebel Rebel that, for a simple riff, what a cracking bass line and great sound - who originally played on this track? I love that full bodied seventies bass sound. Wonder what gear he was using...time for an internet search! andy
