Is that all a cirrus is worth s/h?
I recall these being tremendous and not so cheap.
bump for a superb instrument
andy -
it is a fantastic bass, but pray tell...how you came about the price for it?
I recall buying mine for £179 in 83. I sold it in 89 and have regretted it eversince plus, seeing this pricetag makes me even more sick!
andy -
Easter bump!
-
setting them up this way appeared to focus the bass response tightening it up and ridding the cabs of the muddy midrange which was present when set-up with the ports together in the middle or the top and bottom of the stack.
andy -
after lots of messing around, this way sounded best!
-
Thanks for all the interest
andy -
cheers for that
andy -
would you split the rig?
maybe interested in the cabs.
Ooh, Ali McMordie - mainly cos he was a local lad for me.
Good to see someone else who noticed Neil Murray, I'm suprised he doesn't get namechecked more often.
a link to Mr Murray:

£600 is a killer!! -
For me it would be:
Andy Fraser
John Deacon
Peter Hook
Neil Murray (early Whitesnake)
Dennis Dunaway
Spanning the full decade there I think.
so close for me!
Andy Fraser
Neil Murray
Phil lynott
Dennis Dunaway
Cliff Williams/Ali McMordie - such a dilema -
I really thought that the svt micro stack was bigger than the picture potrays?
maybe Robert Trujillo is larger than the ordinary dude.....?
anyways - teenie weenie! -

Dont you mean a little for a lot?
ayep! -
I had one of these for a while and really liked it! It was used as a practice amp as well as for acoustic sets performing admirably in both!
Sound Control £79 thats a lot for a little... -
this is something I am currently thinking about, I also believe it would look a lot nicer!
-
£600 is far too much for this!
it should have been pitched at the sub £300 market probably £249 making a killing!
I really wanted one of these but now I really cant afford it! -
Ashdown claim the blueline speakers are generic throughout all their ranges!
birch is a good call! -
bump for a really cool bass!
you have to play one of these to realise how good they are! its a lot of bass for such a low price! -
Hi Ian
if the head sells would £500 suffice?
andy
ps, trade I was going to offer was a brand new condition, never used Ampeg B410hlf cab and some cash. -
Hi Ian
