  1. Looking forward to seeing your pix of the new bass 😎🥳🍻
  2. That’s some deal as the EBS pedal is awesome 👍 you need to jump at that deal. Have you paid a deposit to secure it all?
  3. Dings are just experience and character 😎
  4. You’ll love it because it is something else! Remember, there is not many of these world wide and that one specifically, was a short run like the 10th anniversary model. You’ll double your money, maybe even triple it in future. A P on steroids!
  5. Me neither re investment but that is one, if I had access to, I wouldn’t walk by given the price of them these days. I had a mk1 that I had to sell, I’d love another but so rare and expensive now, it’s virtually impossible.
  6. It will definitely be an investment and is 100% different from the special or as I had, the LE model. I have a limited 2 that I bought 23 years ago, it sits in its case, ungigged under my bed and aside from a small chip, it is pristine. Nothing out there sounds like an attitude nor does any bass I’ve ever played deserve its name more than it. Neck dive is awful but it is a real quality instrument. Buy it today, sell it tomorrow for twice the price.
  7. If memory serves, that is a mk2 20th anniversary that also came in red. That is a real bargain!
  8. Ha ha yes! I want Kip Winger’s NS. A Euro4 in amber or natural would please me. They are so cool 😎
  9. I really want a Spector but I’m so fussy about the one I want and I’m skint! Would love to have bought the blue rebop on here.
  10. £1500 - £2k very odd market for those given a mk3 is about £3k and the 30th anniversary is £5k+
  11. Loving the Spector?
  12. Pix of your TRB5 or it doesn’t exist 😂
  13. I'll have two please
  14. Given the prices of some BBs, you’re practically giving it away! It’s equal to or better than, a Mexican Fender.
  15. Given the colours and look, they may have been put out in direct competition to the MIJ Fender boxer series.
  16. 1988 was his first platinum album but I can’t remember if I saw Kip in Alice Cooper during that decade. I saw Alice Cooper twice in the 80s with Kane Roberts on guitar and I think it was Kip on bass but can’t remember! I am the great cornholio, I need TP for my bung hole!
  17. I will look into that story but Kip appears to be doing well in his career. Followed him for years with Winger and Alice Cooper. He also is a trained classical pianist who does a lot more than just rock music.
  18. Pat Badger and Kip Winger love their Spector basses and what a tone they get from them 👏
  19. I thought the same with the nut. I remember watching lots of gigs in Edinburgh in the mid 80s & 90s, Warwicks were being used by bass players in a lot of the bands I saw and I recall thinking they were awful expensive at approx £1200. Getting this info from you guys makes me think that is a lot of money for a copy during those decades.
  20. Great info folks, cheers 👍I suspected Warwick of copying Spector but did not realise the depth of it.
  21. Please someone shed light on this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124995378299?hash=item1d1a4e1c7b:g:uTEAAOSwPJdhimDF
  22. Good lads Craig and Charlie, wrote the greatest football anthem ever 👍
  23. Yes we did mate, Tesco at the Forge in Glasgow many years ago, and I picked up a stunning Fender Mike Dirnt from you 😎
  24. Me too 👍
