1. never seen one rod nor knew trace did a v4 210 combo...only the 115 v4 combo I'm familiar with....anyhooos it is a v4 head and will be fantastic! adding a 115 cab will be killer! the V series are just monsters! take it from an experienced user! I currently have a loan of a V6, it is not so different from my v4, just marginally louder but does the 2ohm thing that I require to drive my 2 x ampeg b410hlf cabs and it is amazing as well...so is the v8....ffs just get it if you can afford it! or tell me where it is so i can get it!
2. different situation withs valves add more cabs bigger sounds! seriously my 220 watt V4 is never cranked above 40% and it cuts through anything!
3. ahh, I see! if you are thinking about it - I would and you wont regret it! even if its not for you reselling will get your money back.
4. maybe a little closer for you! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RARITA-COME-NUOVO-Tr...1QQcmdZViewItem
5. check this folks...you want to keep your eye on it! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Trace-Elliot-V4-all-...1QQcmdZViewItem andy
6. 100% agree shaggy! funnily enough my active trb5 does not like my trace V4 valve head! play passive all the time now........I wonder why?
7.
Quality valve amp or not these things go for about £250. They are nice and sound damn good but if i paid £350 for one then saw another go for the normal £250 I'd be abit gutted.
price is immaterial with valve amps particulalry decent quality ones like the trace twin....I would definitley pay £350 for oe or at least would negotiate with the seller.
8. afternoon folks have to completely disagree with comments made here £350 for a quality valve amp is good value! As an owner and user of a Trace Elliot V4 these amps are phenomenal...monsters...the twin, hexa and quatra are older but really good amps and reliable and as well as sustaining their price tag will actually appreciate in time! I have used the v4, v6 and v8 of this range and find them all incredible amps surpassed by nothing! the sheer power of my V4 at 220 watt to the 300/400 watt v6 and the mighty and awsome v8 is staggering not even the mighty ampeg cl comes close! if any of these become available get them quick! you will have seen my up for sale potentially but as of now no chance! I would hate to lose mine!
9. probably around £600 including postage!
10. here's the pics....
11. I'll try and get some pics from the practice room today folks and post around tea time! andy price - no sure!

15. free bump for an awsome setup! svt 3 pro delivers in abundance giving the player everything required to play bass....cant believe your parting with it!? is it the last of the american ones?
16. hi there your right, however these have £100 of extra hardware on them and are brand new. if i took the hardware off and refitted the old stuff - sell for £175 each. ta andy
17. thats a cool bass, personally love it! will keep my eye on it.
18. anyone, before the bay?

20. for all those interested - new models ahoy!!! http://www.yamahainsession.co.uk/?q=node/124 andy
21. dood... you know that there is an attached stigma in using signature basses, do you think john shuker would build a yamaha attitude type bass to my spec?
22.
I can vouch for the Attitudes. Don't so much sing and twang as roar and thump! Definitely different. Otherwise; OLP Tony Levin Fender Roscoe Beck (but the pick-up switch has to go in favour of a Volume / Volume or Volume / Pan arrangement) Quite like the new Statii - Pino Paladino or Guy Pratt designed models. Dunno if they're actually signatures per se, though.
o yes, oh yes - I have two attitudes and love them dearly!! worries the missus at times! they just kick ass and sound mighty - couldn't in a million years part with them....mind you when I kick the bucket, the kids will get them. they are like a fusion of a telebass and pbass, actually thats exactly what they are! trying to sell my pbass and squiers in order to fund an ampeg 810 and another yamaha attitude, a red or a black one or one of those anniversary series - they are just the dogs boll***s for mad rockers!!!!
23. awright! you have my attention - now gimme the free beer as promised! that'll enable me to feel ok when parting with cash on the credit card........... free bump for the title!
24. thanks for that bbb... and thanks to all for the interest. andy
25. ok folks sale back on.....thrown my tantrum and now.....well...feeling good!
