  1. Greetings I recall this effect was part of the 'Jaco Jazz' preset on the Zoom B3 and was wanting to see if it was available anywhere in the VST world or, If I knew how it worked if it could be recreated in Guitar Rig ? Thanks for your time
  2. I dont have the cash to buy (or the skills to play) a fretless bass !. I'm looking for a way to 'Get Close' to Pino's sound on Paul Youngs 'Wherever I Lay My Hat' using Guitar Rig 7 I do recall the Zoom B3 having a 'De-fret' patch but Im not sure how this was achieved Any Help would be gratefully appreciated Have Fun
  3. Alternate going up the strings and raking coming down Now on adjacent strings that seems obvious but what about when jumping over 2 or 3 strings when ascending or descending does the same apply ?
  4. No Baiting just an honest question .... well two actually.... The second bit being how to unlearn old habits and I suspect the answer is to play the new habit 22 million times until it becomes 'the old habit'. I think I can see some serious 'Shed' time in my future ;-)
  5. Im 60 years old and have been playing since I was 18 and mostly use a plectrum whilst playing only switching fingers when I wanted a softer sound mid-song. Having decideded to try and learn how 'finger' correctly i.e. alternate fingers goining up and a mixture of alterning fingers and raking when switching strings coming down my problem is now is this . . I have difficulty playing simple lines (at present when coming 'down' the index or middle finger used to play a string is decided by which finger is fretting the note.... this happens automatically but is technically wrong as I end double fingering with the same finger) so I'm wonder how I should attack this. Firstly, should I bother.... does it matter if it's 'Tecnically' wrong ?? Whats the best way to 'Unlearn' old habits
