Can i use the USB to connect it with my laptop,and record what i play?

Hi,i have a problem while recording. What i do: bass (passive)-zoom mb-60B-laptop,recording with audacity. The problem is that i cant get normal gain signal from my bass.The signal is to low,i cant even hear it. For example recording a song,then i mixing the original to make the "cover" and the track is 20 times higher than my bass.Any help? thank you in advance

I have the lexicon alpha,and i m recording dass->lexicon alpha->laptop using audacity at the moment. With my active vig cobra bass,i get an incredible sound,but when i am using my 40" scale passive bass i cant take a nice sound.If i use the eden wtdi batween my passive and the lexocon,i get only cliping. So if i use the ms60b before the lexicon,maybe i can get better signal without cliping

Hi felas, I was ready to buy the zoom ms 60 b,but a guy told me is not that good. So i am asking you here,if anyone have experience with this multi effect. I will use it mostly for the reverb,and maybe eq,or amp-cab simulator,just to record some songs-covers-bass lines at my laptop. I dont like the huge multi effect gears,i like something small,easy to use,and not to fake sounding. So,what is your opinion about this? Thank you in advance

I have the aphex bass xciter pedal. Through my marshal mb150 combo is amazing,through my 15/6 fearful nothing exiting. But,when i conect the piezo bridge to play (only piezo,no pickups) i boost all the bass and cut everything else..Oh man..you can hear the thunder roar..

Have anybody try this pedal?

Today i took my pickup back again.The thuth is i was little afraid,because every time someone have to deal with the greek post office,is a living nightmare. But this time it was a happy ending. Thank you Alex for your t-shirt,i hope my pickup helped you

If i was you,i would replace thr pickups.The classic bass serries dont give bright tone

I am using a flat response 15" cab and thats why i am thinking for cab simulator.But the 18" move more air than the 15". Size and weight isnt a problem for me

The truth is,i am not sure if i realy need a 18" simulator. Just thinking about it. In the other hand,a 18" simulated through a 15" cab,remains a 15" cab..Maybe the EQ can make a 15" sound like a 15" simulated to sound like 18". Is it better to go flor a 18" cab? I can't find anything. I found a lot 18" cabs but all of them are old and discontinued (maybe the 18" is not a good idea and thats why they discontinued,but c'mon,sound is personal taste and companies products what sell better)

The only thing i need,is high quality tools and experience at instrument building.If i had those two litle things,it would be way better. But never mind. This supose to be my last build. But i found a template of an expensive bass i wanted to buy,so,afyer this,i will build one exactly the same,and this should be my last build because i dont have room for many basses,so..

You can find many strings on the market with voice lengh up to 36". If you wan to go longer then its way more difficult. I use custom made newtone strings with maximun lengh 50"

I like to experimenting with unusual things.Some work,some not,some work in their own way. I am not the first one,nor smarter,supet scientist or anything else. I have no problem to answer questions and help people. The difference from 34 to 35 is so tiny,you will never notice it

Thank you man. Today i sanded the surface. Next step the truss rod and carbon rods canal. Because of the huge scale,i modified the ttuss rod and is 52" long.I have to make ti shorter. I must find where the 20th fret would be. The bass will have 21 frets. Tha carbon rods are 40" long so they will be visibletill the bridge pickup

I mqde the neck.Now just need a final pass with the router to clear the surface. The angles must be 18-17nut 9-10 bridge
