The Status with the green LED's has been sold.
No probs mate. Now i know what bass it was i can get on & not be able to afford it anyway lol

5.
Was it on display under a glass cabinet in Scheerer's?
No mate but it looks almost exactley the same as the one on the left in your pic......do tell please sir ooo sir oo
6. Johngh What is the headless one on furthest one on the left? I remember seeing a headless years ago it was a dark grey high gloss finish body just like that one, but was in a kevlar gray it had the most amazing fretboard (almost like a tumbled stone feel) i think it was ebony & it was almost sexual to play. I never knew the make but it was price at £1100 & i lusted after it for months, eventually it got sold & i was gutted. Always wondered what it was......
7. I did'nt like the look of headless before i played one. But as soon as i did all the rest just felt off balance to me. I'm borrowing a Bass of my mate on long term loan till i get cash together for a decent bass, and i still cant get used to how heavy the top end is. A headless for me is bang on, The body hangs on my thigh & the neck across my chest. exactley where i want it to be. I want another headless & i really hope it does not become fashonable, i love being an oddball

12. Yeh i'll be honest i'd never heard of Shuker Bass' before thats why i was so intregued by what they look & play like. But the more i see them the more i really want one lol.
13. yeh just been listening to this.....like that track. Cheer for that link it's playing in the background as i type this. Oh well i'll have to struggle through this one by ear (Have to admit i'm not the best at working things out by ear) but ya ....was hoping to cheat & find the tab for it.
14.
Well, as it seems I've got to put a disclaimer on anything I say in this thread, so... Personally, I find that unless lyrics have some cohesiveness or a story I can reasonably follow more or less from start to finish, I tend to lose interest in the lyrics and pay attention to the underlying music. Unfortunately for me a lot of contemporary music, at least in Britain, is built on pretty poor lyrics, and the underlying music is not much better (again, IMO). So, I turned to more or less totally to instrumental music. Joe Satriani is a big personal favourite, Hiromi is also good, Laurence Cottle, Guthrie Govan, Brett Garsed, Charlie Hunter, Barber (particularly the Excursions) etc. I listen to a fair bit of jazz but if it sounds good I'll listen to it. Stuff with lyrics, some of you may cry 'hypocrit' but I like some of Van Halen's work, the Eagles (Wasted Time is a beautifully crafted song IMO), Dream Theater, Mr. Big. However, only certain songs of the artists with lyrics appeal to me. I'll look through my iPod and fish some out for you. Mark DISCLAIMER: this is just my opinion
Can i ask a quick question on this subject. although you can ignore the lyrics in the first place why complain about the lyrics? I only ask because i love writing lyrics & i have a strong belief that not everything Has to be a master peice thats all
15. Over there
16. lol THank you ....why do i get the feeling i need to be really extra nice to the other half.......Grooming in a non pervy way
17. Is it rude to ask for a ball park figure on a 4 string Headless?
18. I like the look of some of these. Niice I'm glad there is something there in the budget line, with better options for the beginner i think only good things can come of that
19. Maybe now i'm doubting myself now lol. The line came from him complaining that no one uses his basslines in remixed music as he puts in so much effort. So Hybrid being the nice dudes they are had a go........ I'm trying to work this out but struggling at the mo lol
20. Hi this is a long shot as it's driving me bonkers. I love a band called Hybrid (Progressive Breaks) who did an album called "Morning Sci-fi" which featured Peter Hooks Bass playing. Anyway on a track called "True to Form" Hybrid live He plays a bass line that i absolutley love (the Peter Hook Line comes in at 3:23) if you want to have a look. Now i'm pretty sure this is a New Order Bass line as i recognise it, but i'm going mad as to what the line is from origionally. I love the peice but & i keep checking out all the various forums but cant find where it's from origionally. Can someone who is vastly more cleverer than me help? If so i will remote praise you from where i am.
