  6. Thanks everyone. So, no point using lemon oil on finished maple. Water & fairy liquid are as good as the Fender / Dunlop guitar cleaners then?
  7. Hi all, first post here other than a bit of Classifieds action. . . Just after some tips on cleaning my maple necked MIA P-bass. Will be restringing soon so plan to clean the fingerboard. I understand you don't use lemon oil on maple. I am looking at Dunlop 65 Guitar Polish & Cleaner or Fender Custom Shop Guitar Cleaner. Any thoughts on these or others you recommend? I guess you use these on the fingerboard, neck and body? After cleaning I have read that some people use car products to get a good shine. I already have some Autoglym Super Resin Polish and some Meguiars Quik Detailer, I guess these would both be ok? Also has anyone used Megs Scratch-X to remove minor scratches from the bass body, as I have some of that too? Any particular microfibre cloth you like? I see Fender do at least 3 (Factory, Dual Sided Super Soft & Premium Plush), with the Dunlop one costing more than all the Fenders. I would be wary about using a Halfords / budget MF but I guess any of the Fenders or good quality car MF's would be fine. Last question - I've never cleaned my strings before, just replaced them when dead, but am interested in what is out there for string cleaning. Which method do you prefer - Fast Fret type stick thingy, those contraptions you trap the strings in then glide down the board with, or some kind of wipes? Thanks for your help Dave

Loads of build-in effects: 6 x COSM amp modelling presets Built-in tuner EQ - Bass, Middle, Treble Gain & Volume controls Compression / Drive Chorus / Solo / Polyoctave Delay / Reverb Power Squeezer - great option which will take all the effects & settings you choose & present them at low volume so you don't annoy the neighbours Aux in for iPod / phone etc connection Headphone / Recording out Footswitch socket for optional effects (not included) Built in power cable with tie, no more having to remember kettle cords ! Built in carry handle. Great for home practice & small room gigs. Built like a tank, virtually no signs of wear due to the big chunky corner protectors and the fact that it's been stored in the original box inbetween use (box is a bit dog-eared). 10. Hi, new member here, so no feedback but we all have to start somewhere! I figured I would rather pay £20 to sell things to people on this fine forum and support it, than give money to eBay. I would like £110 delivered for my MXR M81 Preamp / DI pedal. No trades please, I have a Radial DI on the way so just need to cover that cost. I have used this twice and it is in mint condition and could pass for new. These currently sell for around £160-170 new so grab a bargain. All original packaging including manual, MXR booklet & warranty card. Power supply included but it can also run on 9V battery or Phantom power. Only selling as I am going for the simplicity of a plain DI as I don't really need the tone shaping that this offers and would like it to go someone who can use it to its full potential. A good combined Preamp & DI with tone shaping capabilities from the EQ dials, particularly good if you have an ampless setup. Seperate Input & Output dials, adjustable bass and treble & sweepable mids. Ground lift switch and Pre/Post switch. A very transparent pedal which can give you EQ options before/after sending your signal to the PA. Ready to post, my eBay user ID is 'boonmonkey' if you want to check me out (100% positive). Thanks [attachment=236649:IMG_9581.JPG] [attachment=236650:IMG_9588.JPG] [attachment=236651:IMG_9589.JPG] [attachment=236652:IMG_9585.JPG] [attachment=236653:IMG_9578.JPG] [attachment=236654:IMG_9586.JPG] [attachment=236655:IMG_9587.JPG]
