    To send a PM here: click on my profile name, then the message icon (envelope) I bought it used from this site a few months ago, so don’t know how old it is. It’s had very light use from what I can see. The enclosure is solid and very good quality. I’ve had it as an ‘always on’ thing but having managed without a compressor for decades, I don’t feel I need one, so am selling it to free up funds for other stuff. I can post today if you or anyone else is able to pay in the next couple of hours. Cheers

    SOLD Priced for quick sale: Keeley Bassist Limiting Amplifier (Compressor) in excellent used condition. I don’t have the original box or manual, but it will be posted in a non matching pedal box along with some printouts explaining its use from the Keeley website. Couple of very tiny paint chips and light scratches on the front. Heavy duty velcro on underside. Posted same or next day depending on my work shifts. Will post to UK mainland only.

    Here here. It’s an absolutely disgrace that someone would deliberately show a false weight in order to get a sale and hope that the buyer doesn’t notice and/or mind the weight increase. Hugely disappointing & frustrating for the buyer, especially when a waste of a journey and tank of fuel is involved as in your case. Weight is a huge issue if you have back / shoulder problems & people should respect that by giving an accurate weight. I’m glad I bought a digital luggage scale to help me sell on here, I pride myself on giving an accurate weight in bass sale listings. Considering they only cost around £15, and of course can be used to weigh luggage too, I don’t think it’s too much to ask of any seller of musical instruments to invest in one. Perhaps it could even be made mandatory on here. . . Fair play to the seller here for their honesty, it’s just a shame they themself were let down by another. GLWTS for this beautiful bass

    Interested to hear if the Dunlop Tortex Flex is more like the feel of a USA Nylon and less ‘clicky’ than a standard Tortex wedge. If so I may have to try these

    Since my last comment, I've seen the Blue version of this up close in person, it looked absolutely stunning. I would have been incredibly tempted if it was a Precision. Surprised this is still here.

    The current crop of Mexican Player P basses is fantastic. The perceived gap in quality between Mexican and USA made Fenders has closed over the years, to the point where I'm really not sure what the USA models offer on top of the Mexican ones to justify the big price difference. The Players are fantastic value for money, both new and used. I'm curious what scales you are using for the stated weights. 3.19 Kg (7.03 lbs) especially seems unrealistic for even the Player bass, and 3.98 Kg (8.77 lbs) the same for a USA bass, at least from ones I've had. My 2021 Player is 3.9Kg (8lb 6oz) and another from the same year I had was 3.7Kg (8lb 2oz). All the USA P basses I've had (2003-2008), have weighed 4.1-4.2 Kg, but I think the 2012-2016 Am Stds & 2017 onwards Am Pros are generally lighter than that.

    Only posting this once. . . I have a ‘Gator GC-ELEC-XL extra long deluxe guitar case’ for sale, which I bought for a short scale stingray (a perfect fit) I no longer have. I’m gonna leave SS for now so need to move this on. I would imagine this would fit most short scale basses, please check yours will fit if interested. Not got measurements to hand but can be easily found online if needed. I will be putting it on eBay soon if not sold here
