For Sale: Aguilar DB410 8 Ohms speaker cab in Classic Black. Immaculate condition including Aguilar padded cover. This is my favourite cab of all time and have owned 2 more previously (plus many others) but haven't had the chance to use it since buying this one new. Hi Flex, There's no real philosophy at all, just personal preference like a musicman or P-bass. I find all the sounds I need can be obtained from picking hand technique and occasionally a slight tweak to the Bass knob. This pickup position has been serving me very well for years now on my other custom basses. Also, I like having minimal knobs on basses and this should have been 3 knobs ideally (one stacked of course) as no blend is required. Cheers, Andy

Hi Folks, Custom built USA Bolt-on NS-4H2 with a single Humbucker so, it has been labelled as an NS-4H1 by Spector. Specs as normal for the NS-4H2 with the following custom upgrades: Grade AAAAA Flame Maple Top Ultra Amber Finish Walnut Body (instead of Mahogany) Custom 'Sweet-spot' pick-up placement Single EMG 35TW pick-up (Single or Dual coil modes) Birdseye Maple Fingerboard Abalone Inlays Hipshot D-tuner (Aguilar OBP-3 Pre-amp) I received this Bass in early May from Bass Direct/Spector after the normal custom-build waiting period so, all is immaculate and shiny/new with no marks, dings at all and a new set of Elixir Bass strings has been fitted. Am absolutely in love with this Bass but prefer the ergonomics of my main Adamovic that I've been using for everything over the past 7+ years.
