  1. I'm the opposite.
  2. Yes i'm long sighted but the funny thing is according to the optician i am only long sighted from about two feet away from the fretboard.Recently i have been struggling to see the Fretboard. So Compensating for that i have been playing by Muscle Memory,my playing is suffering i think. So i am thinking of trying Contacts and was wondering if anyone else has this problem ,or is it only me.Not the worse thing in the world to happen i know but it is starting to annoy me now.Or should i just concede that i'm an old git now and carry on regardless.
  3. Does anyone wear Contact whilst playing, but wears normal Glasses when not. I wear Glasses when i'm playing all the time, but i'm thinking of contacts when playing in the band Anyone?
  4. Thank you i will have a Look.
  5. Great thank you for posting, some good info here.I have just purchased this, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08VR8YCYT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details,hopefully this will do the business ,just not sure what programme to use it with.I have just downloaded the Reaper DAW. I could do with a step by step video of how to do this as i'm not that techy .
  6. I have three Bass Guitars ATM ,A Yamaha BB424x,a Sire V4 Marcus Miller Jazz with a Roasted neck in that lovely Green Colour(the best by far) and A Fender Mex P with Fender 1963 vintage p/ups and i can honestly say that most players would Play and sound better with all of these than I will ever will do.
  7. Is this really free ?where is the catch.
  8. Hi all,i am looking at starting to film myself playing Bass on Youtube Tracks or the like.Mainly to identify my playing techniques and hopefully trying to Iron out my bad habits and mistakes. I have a Scarlett 212 mk3 already which i have used mainly to play through with my headphones to Youtube Tracks so that's covered i suppose . How do other people do this? ,any inputs to a recording newbie would be great thanks all.
  9. Cheers for that.

  16. That's me as well could be an Age thing,or at least that's what i keep telling myself.
  17. Would you be looking to sell the TI flats.

  19. It will shrink over time ,all you're doing is imparting moisture into the wood in the form of Steam which makes the wood swell ,however when that wood then dries it will eventually revert back to its original state.Well it did when i was in the Furniture trade any way which was interior Flush doors made from Oak ,Ash ,Maple veneers etc, which nowadays are classed as items of Furniture.
  20. Personally we found them to be better than the Crayons,If the scratch is deeper than the surface ,it will need some coloured wax to match first to fill it up,and than apply with the Marker over the top.It doesn't look that deep anyway.
  21. Which shrinks when it dries out again.
  22. This is Mint Might introduce into our setlist..
  23. Who ARRRRRR.
  24. You need some of these ,we used to use them in the furniture trade years ago, just keep building up coats,no need to sand or anything, just keep applying with the colour closets to your headstock until you reach a decent match.the scratch will become invisible almost. Good luck. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Magic-Furniture-Repair-Markers-Medium/dp/B01L8GLZ5I/ref=asc_df_B01L8GLZ5I/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=469046074987&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17266168027303443019&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9046413&hvtargid=pla-423467327413&th=1
