Everybody's favourite tones area different I guess! A tone that I heard years ago which sticks in my head as a "favourite" though is kid in his bedroom with generic recording equipment.: I think it sounds awesome.

Any update on this? Interested, as the amp is on my list, but I've had a dodgy experience with polar also. They sold me a duff speaker, I sent it back for them to fix, which they didn't, I had to send it back again but got a full refund. Not out of pocket at least!

Olde Royal Oak in Burton- always a favourite place to play. Lovely atmosphere and fun regulars. Went much better than last week's gig too- I just changed the power valve on my streamliner and found a lot more volume and tightness. Also... I got flashed by ladies at the front. Does that make me a rock star? 😂

Up for sale is a rig that I started playing through a few years ago for pubs mainly. It has less than 10 gigs under it's belt, and has the potential for many more. The peavey minimax is 500 watts, and loud. Never had any issues with it, never overheats, but I put that down to the fan. Great cooling fan, but just a little on the loud side so not great for recording, I'd imagine. The peavey headliner is NOW SOLD Kustom deep end 115h- it just works so well. For a "Cheap" 1x15, I honestly can't sing it's praises enough. I'd originally had two 2x10s stacked vertically and swapped one out for this thing- I never looked back afterwards. Just big and meaty. Collection from Derby area.

I hear you on this- which is why I've switched to contact lenses. I can just about see my fretboard without my glasses... and the outline of my drummer to see his leads, but I can't see the crowd, which sucks. If I've forgotten to put my contact lenses in, I borrow some gorilla snot from my drummer (sticky stuff for his hands to grip the sticks better) and rub that on the bridge of my nose! Works a charm.
