So I guess that means mine could, in theory, be a Kasuga. I know you guys wanted some pics with of the routing & electrics, but I've been having way too much fun with it 'as is' to restring it yet! Well, this one - recently advertised on here is mine! Freshly arrived from Hungary.. It has a bit of tail lift, but it doesn't seem terminal. The TRC sports the motif 'Electric Bass' in a familiar script. & says it was 'made in japan'. Previous owner said he thught it was 70s made. It's faired pretty well, & sounds pretty cool. Action needs a little attention, but we'll get there!

J.[/quote] It's here & I'm spending an evening getting acquainted. New set of string required. Lucky I have some roto swings here. Trc sez 'electric bass' in a familiar script. The 'stereo sound' seems to be working, which is cool. Tuners maybe are the week point but it looks the part & sounds pretty cool. Tho I cant really crank it too loud! It is pretty much as per pics in the link from the original ad, if you followed that link. When I change strings I'll take the plate off & grab some snaps..

I've been looking at those ProBass Retrovibes - there's one on the Bay ATM - but read a few disturbing things. What I want is that Ric look & as close to Ric tone as I can get on a budget, having had to part with my 2 Rics this year - a 75 4001 & an 03 c64. The price of another broken relationship, & frankly a price I just had to pay! Any advice? (on Ric-a-likes, not my relationship issues!)
