    I remember mine had SDs, D'Addario strings, graphtech nut (?) and a bridge similar to a Gotoh 201. Think it cost me £219 brand new. Only thing I didn't like was the mirror pickguard! A tort or pearloid one would have looked better IMO.

    I have the original 1212L and it is indeed an awesome cab. I have a Shuttle 9.2 and it's a really good combination.

    Fingers all the way. How many double bass players use a pick? Yet people put flats on an electric bass and use a pick.

    Look like roundwounds to me. I'm pretty sure they're the original Fender 7250s which came in a sky blue packaging but they stopped being produced around 2009. Roto nickel rounds are very similar IME.

    Is there anything out there on the market that is similar to the RC BB? I can't really justify dropping £200 on a pedal right now and wondered if there were any alternatives. FYI I'm looking for a pedal to give me a few more EQ options after my BBBOD. Thanks!

    Old Fender 7250s had black silks... ten years ago when Fender made them in their Mexico factory.
