The amp is 65, probably early part of H2. Added output jack, one switch changed and the panel lamp changed too. Two caps changed on the board (routine). Board looks to have been out, per wiring diagram for the OT secondaries.
DO NOT send it to Marshall. Their archivist, Phil Wells, is a lovely guy, but knows little about vintage Marshall amps (curious, but true). Marshall would also need to fit an IEC kettle power lead to conform to regulations.....which would kill the value.
Cab is a recovered pinstripe style. Tolex isn't original. The drivers are of different vintages, the older being the "Celestion LTD" 25W......but it was made post-69. The other driver is newer still, so neither were contemporaries of the head. Because of their age, the date codes on the drivers will be printed in black on the chassis, not the gasket.
It's a lovely amp, I'd like to buy it and have all the parts to put it back to factory spec. If it's for sale, PM me.
