Ive asked this in general bass discussion, ive recently got a fender bass string tensioner for the headstock of a bass i'm buildong, but whats strange is there are no grooves cut into the underside for the strings to sit in? on my other bass they're cut in not sure if this makes much difference only in that the strings may just pop out from either side. Any ideas Thanks
