  1. Get Down - Gilbert O’Sullivan
  2. Danny’s highlighting of the Giaccamo Turra debacle went way beyond the bass community.
  3. Nightbirds - Shakatak
  4. Bite The Hand That Feeds - Paul Young
  5. World Shut Your Mouth - Julian Cope
  6. There are no daft questions, when it comes to researching basses. Basschat is always willing to help other members spend their money, it stops us spending ours .
  7. It's Oh So Quiet - Björk & Betty Hutton
  8. I'm sure Viv Wilcock would love these.
  9. Keep Talking - Pink Floyd
  10. Shout To The Top - The Style Council
  11. There’s A Hole In My Bucket - Harry Belafonte and Odetta
  12. Another from our old set list and one we also recorded as a demo.
  13. You certainly have to be on your mettle. I was doing a run through, when Lady Ez popped her head around the door to ask if I wanted a coffee, as soon my brain considered the answer (which was in the affirmative), I completely lost the plot of the tune.
  14. And is exactly what I thought whilst posting. Apparently, if you liked the first movie and set the bar fairly low, Tap2 is OK.
  15. I have 12 to learn for Monday. The last one I charted today (I was only given the list last night) was UB40’s Kingston Town, an interesting take on the classic root/five.
  16. Police & Thieves - Junior Murvin
  17. Breaking The Law - Judas Priest
  18. My old ‘80 band used to do Wouldn’t It Be Good & The Riddle. With regard to to period accuracy, we also did Walking on the Moon on the presumption that it would have still been played on the likes of Radio1, etc in 1980.
  19. JMJs seem to range from £1340-£1440 new. Generally very, very well regarded, so it can't be surprising that a P version (up to a point) is in the same ballpark price wise (no custom SD pickup though).
