  1. Consonant Craving - k d lang
  2. Ooh, that'd be a cool gig. Shame it's so far away (500 miles) as I'd love to play Mr Lodge's lines (John Lodge and Justin Hayward playing the RAH was the first ever proper gig that I went to). Good luck with the search.
  3. Lark’s Tongues In Aspic - King Crimson
  4. I played (no pun intended) one of these yesterday, albeit with a maple neck and board, and was mightily impressed. If I was in the market for a P (I’m not, I’m not, I’m not! 😬) I wouldn’t hesitate to get one of these.
  5. I’ll second that.
  6. I liked the John Myung signature when I played one at a guitar/bass show.
  7. Flying In The Reel - Lone Star
  8. I played one of these years ago and, as you say, it's a bass sound, yet somewhat devoid of character. I did not find it inspiring and was rather disappointed.
  9. Pino and then later Roscoe Beck. However, these days, I tend to try and channel Tony Levin.
  10. A Smith? That’s a surprise, but you are very eclectic in your bass choices. That’s a looker. 👍
  11. Ramblin' On My Mind - Various blues folk.
  12. I’ve used an EBS Unichorus for years. Also offers flange and pitch modulation effects.
  13. Killing Me Soufflé - Roberta Flack
  14. You’re welcome 🤣
  15. Meshell - The Beatles
  16. The Poacher - Ronnie Lane
  17. Short People - Randy Newman
  18. As much as I like 'burst and tort, 'burst and black works a treat too.
  19. This times many. Well played @Fluid Druid, well played. 👏 👏 👏
  20. We Don't Need Another Hero - Tina Turner
  21. Cor! That takes me back to being a young lad. Tennessee Ernie Ford was a staple in chez Ez. The Weight - The Band
  22. Super Massive Black Hole - Muse
