  1. I used The Bass Gallery for my commission sales. Firstly, because I was selling a ‘bass that must not be mentioned’. Secondly, the commission was only 15%. Thirdly, they take care of any deliveries and insurance for said delivery. Finally, they deal with any issues by supporting the product for a couple of weeks after purchase. Each time I’ve used them, I’ve also paid for a BC seller’s subscription so that I can post a for sale thread here too.
  2. Depends if he’s being a bellend or not 🤣
  3. I get the ‘electric companies don’t want you to know about this energy saving hack’ and ‘the eyesight product seniors are going mad for’ (or words to that effect). I have to wait for these to load before my iPad will let me access anything else on the forum (it’s becoming flaky recently).
  4. Paul sold me his Nordymute. Super simple transaction, rapid dispatch and delivery. Top BCer.
  5. I went back and had a play with a reversed second pickup. I did not save the image and didn’t share for fear of folks asking for money for counselling or for replacement keyboards due to puke damage. It was not a good look 😖, which was surprising.
  6. I saw that yesterday, how on Earth did they miss that?
  7. It Might as Well Rain Until September - Carole King
  8. I agree, I just didn’t have a mirror image loaded to try it out. Full disclosure, I’m a double P type fan anyway and have owned one in the past (a converted, original run Roadworn, sounded great but had horrific neck dive).
  9. Playing around with a photo editor. Double P or P/J (technically speaking it's M/M or M/51). This never ends well for me, i.e. I often end up spending money

Mine too, BC is very jerky & slow on mine.
  11. Or… scrapped away the inherent Phil Spector, same thing really.
  12. Bargain! Schroeders and Markbass heads go together really well, IME.

My heaviest bass is my only SS (Mustang), weighing in at 3.8kg. The lightest is my 35” scale five string that tips the scales at a fraction over 3kg. Go figure.
  15. Does anyone else see an eye in the right hand section, next to the centre block? It’s a bit creepy, but in a good way.
  16. Sorted, the BC hive mind solves yet another conundrum. Fortnum & Mason hamper basket - posh! I meant to say earlier about your new addition - very Robbie Shakespeare. 👍
  17. This might work with a bit of forming. http://herculesstands.com/international/products/fretted-and-bowed-instrument/guitar/single-stands-(1)/gs405b/
  18. I’ve used these in the past, a halfway house between leaning you bass against your amp and a stand. Markbass did something similar. http://guitarholder.com
