Hard to go wrong with white or black (fingerprint magnet issues notwithstanding). However, I currently own neither and seem to be on a blue bass kick, with my last 2 incomers being that hue (I should point out that, due to supply, that was the only colour available at the time) and I’m rather liking it.

Would it feasible to add a small section to the top of the pot you have by cutting the top off of another pot and attaching it to the Alpha (epoxy, drill and screw, whatever)? A bit Heath Robinson, but a potential solution if solid enough.

I selected no sigs years ago and I’ve not felt the need to switch it back on.

Playing a Mustang seated is the same as on a strap for me, the offset shape puts it right into that position. My ‘Ray SS, however, sits more to the right when seated than when on a strap.

Although not currently in any bands, I was lucky in one of my previous bands in that I could play a whole gig on fretless if I wanted to. We did a garden, live stream during 2020 and I did just that. Loved it. What a difference a couple of years and no bands makes. However, at odds with this thread, my fretless GAS is still very much intact, one the new ACG Mules has my bank account twitching madly 😂.

Can you undo the screws? It might be that they’re bottomed out.
