The Short Scale Bass Appreciation Society!
ezbass replied to Baloney Balderdash's topic in Bass Guitars
I agree, I just didn’t have a mirror image loaded to try it out. Full disclosure, I’m a double P type fan anyway and have owned one in the past (a converted, original run Roadworn, sounded great but had horrific neck dive). -

Playing around with a photo editor. Double P or P/J (technically speaking it's M/M or M/51). This never ends well for me, i.e. I often end up spending money -
Mine too, BC is very jerky & slow on mine.

Or… scrapped away the inherent Phil Spector, same thing really.

Left to to right: 3.8kg, 3.0kg, 3.3kg, 3.2kg (rounded up or down).

My heaviest bass is my only SS (Mustang), weighing in at 3.8kg. The lightest is my 35” scale five string that tips the scales at a fraction over 3kg. Go figure.

Sorted, the BC hive mind solves yet another conundrum. Fortnum & Mason hamper basket - posh! I meant to say earlier about your new addition - very Robbie Shakespeare. 👍

I’ve used these in the past, a halfway house between leaning you bass against your amp and a stand. Markbass did something similar. http://guitarholder.com

Clever, I like it. So… many… basses… 😳

A very cool bass you have there, it certainly won't hold you back and it should encourage you to pick it up more often (an often overlooked criteria when it come to a first instrument). As you'll know, Brighton has a very vibrant music scene. As things start to open up more, don't be afraid to get stuck in down there.

Bought Mickey's exceptionally well priced Richard Thompson book on Thursday afternoon, just arrived at my door in the Scottish Highlands. Easy transaction, very quickly dispatched and received. Thank you, my good man.

+1 This should be of interest as pre charging seems the sensible way forward for all sellers (at least large organisations).- 40 replies
