  1. “If it's old, then it must be valuable, right?“ Many daytime TV programs operate on this very premise.
  2. Very good. You obviously beat me to the punch as I decided my post would receive ire and took it down. However, I am pleasantly surprised 👏👏👏.
  3. Anyone who introduces themselves here with a playing video deserves a round of applause. Nice one. 👏👏👏
  4. Been Caught Stealing - Jane's Addiction
  5. Police & Thieves - The Clash & others
  6. Ring of Fire - Johnny Cash
  7. Vindaloo - Fat Les
  8. This might be fixed now, as I posted something not on the last page earlier and it refreshed to my post at the end of the thread. 🤞
  9. Lightweight, powerful and sit brilliantly in the mix. Don’t sound great when played isolated at home, but in a band situation they are the mutt’s dangly bits.
  10. I thought this might happen.
  11. Music first, always. I was in a Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers tribute, we didn’t dress up at all (other than TP and Mike Campbell, they were quite nondescript) but we aimed to get the music as spot on as possible. It’s nice if the front person/s make an effort, not so it’s a parody, but it doesn’t really matter if they just go on as themselves.
  12. Indeed and you’re in that there London (like what I was up until last year), so having a try would be easy. I’m now 500 miles away (cue The Proclaimers). My mother in law used to live in Pinner.
  13. Tea in the Sahara - The Police
  14. Might be the post quoting, but not on the last page thing I mentioned above.
  15. Looks weird, but if you have the clearance under the strings, why not?
  16. This seems to be BJ & Co’s new guidance, “It’s up to you now, not our problem or fault if it goes tîts up.” British common sense will prevail apparently. Not holding my breath, but perhaps I should.
  17. It seems that when quoting a post from a page that is not the last and, adding one’s own literary flourishes, pressing save doesn’t appear to work, often meaning the save button is pressed again and maybe even once more. The problem seems to be that after the initial save, you are not taken immediately to last post position where your post would have appeared pre update. Instead, posters are left in limbo wondering why their post hasn’t saved, when of course it has, just on the last page, possibly a number of times.
  18. This came up on my Instagram feed a couple of days ago. https://www.instagram.com/p/CRnzp1lLkj7/?utm_medium=copy_link
  19. What an absolute beast! In a good way.
  20. I didn’t have a badge before, but I now I do, all the levels became visible once clicked.
  21. But with a pressure wave that could rip your face off.
  22. Bit of a thread revival. Did you tryout the Fallout? If so, how did it compare to the JMJ?
  23. I have both fretted and fretless. They do different things and although I love fretless, I would never consider frets as training wheels (I'm currently loving my short scale fretted). I'm not a Jaco fan, but he is mostly revered in the bass community. Jaco played both fretted and a lined fretless.
